  1. Received mine today - magnificent reading for tomorrow night I reckon!! Brian
  2. They are talking crap - you can even add all the mods during the online quote process - there is a very comprehensive list of them. I find them very good with mods, and not much charge - certainly not compared to the likes of Direct Line etc! Nobles used Shell Helix 5w/40 as recommended by Subaru - it is fully synthetic. Brian
  3. Terrible news. I did not know Paul but I can empathise with how Kate is feeling now A real waste. Brian
  4. Removed my pentagon front tints after the law was changed. An "advise" is recorded by police so next time it is "get them off". Really not worth the hassle, especially now every joe in the world has them as first mod on their car. I still have the rears. Brian

  8. Great idea Chris - True Grip and Scooby Mag features too would be good - maybe Jap Performance? Brian
  9. All the best Jamie. A change is good for you sometimes. Keep the car well away from snooping eyes whilst away Brian
  10. Listening to them again now - they are superb!!
  11. Cal, I meant to add them - they are the business - I always remember hearing them on tape years ago! Brian
  12. Yep, Same in Glasgow East End Shell - had fuel OK but busy and the sales assistant said the day had been "crazy" when I asked. HOWEVER, the fuel protest group, as on the BBC news website say they will NOT be blockimg fuel delivery so there should be NO ISSUE, unless people keep panic buying. Brian [right, I'm away to fill up my wheelie bins with fuel ]
  13. Here you go: The old favourite Bad layout but funny - check the jokes section Glasgow Guide BBS Glesga stuff
  14. Sorry Scott, I am recording our "new album" Wednesday night in Ayr. Arranged finally last night - only day we can get into the studio and it needs done before the Wedding Fayre @ Braehead in a couple of weeks (and SECC after) for our showcase gigs. The week after I can do it...oh well Brian
  15. Half an hour to go. Anyone got The Squirrells' mobile number so they can text him and let him know - I am sure he'd want to watch it. Brian
  16. Market forces Paddy, and the location of the station. However, I have never figured out why often the stations near the refinery here in Grangemouth are more expensive a lot of the time. It must be cost of site lease, distance from the refinery and who delivers the fuel, the charge of the supplier to the station (if an independant more expensive I would imagine), the staffing costs, the profits made by the shop on other goods, any recent forecourt work and finally the number of customers - the busier the cheaper. Some of these are just conjecture but may, as a pckage, contribute to the costs. Oh and some may want to make more profit than others, although I am sure many station owners/managers will tell you how little they actually make. Brian
  17. OH DEAR!! A phone call is required I think Andy
  18. I've ordered a billion litres - gonna need a new letterbox I think
  19. Yep - a BIG Scottish meet - discussed and been in "the pipeline" for a long time but has never happened. 2006 will be the year for it I think Brian
  20. A bit of a distance to travel to get it done! There are severalgood central belt places could do it too. Unlucky mate
  21. Very true - it would be a great car for the right owner, as it was for you. I hate seeing them being nailed everywhere on the road - people just look at them at act like old men, tutting and shaking their head... One day the drivers' will realise they look like a complete d*ck.
