  1. Hi Col What you have done is correct; the assembly is held by a lug either side of the grilles and needs a right good pull to get them out. I pass a bit of string thriugh the lid catch (so that I can get a good grip of it) and also grip it behind the lid. Straddle the inside of the car so that your butt is over the console (don't sit on it!) and PULL straight back as hard as you can. It will come eventually but just make sure that you don't take a backwards tumble into the back seats when it does [] I don't think that you need to remove the cup holder screws. Good luck. Raymond
  2. After I removed mine I took a hacksaw to it and removed everything a couple of inches from the inner wing mounting flange. When refitted it meant that the air intake on the radiator panel could be replaced channelling cool air into the inner wing where it was picked up by the (very much shortened) air box inlet, if you see what I mean...[] With the bonnet open it looked untouched.
  3. Cheers Cal. Thanks for the info - I wasn't sure about other fitments. You learn something new every day
  4. Cal.. FWIW I have an up pipe for sale if you're interested. It's wrapped, painted, has an egt/lambda boss and is ready to go on - it just needs studs which you'll get off your old one with a bit of luck. It's on the For Sales on here - Email me if you want pics.

  7. If anybody is coming down the M74 to the NBO tomorrow the speed (sorry, safety) cameras will be out in the Dumfries section Link
  8. There's a back box for sale here. Seller prefers collection but it wouldn't hurt to ask him if he'd send it. Carriage by Securicor is around £17, from my own experience. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=428490
  9. B*gg*r, b*gg*r, b*gg*r. Missed this one Glad that you all had a good day tho'. What was the route, roughly?
  10. I'm well aware that you can't really compare dynos but I'm just curious to know if Star and Dastek rollers give similar results. I keep reading on Scoobynet that a VF23 turbo is good for 330 bhp (proven on actual runs so presumably at Star as Dastek is new) whereas my car with VF23, APS fmic, GruppeS, APS caik, 550s, Apexi PFC and AVC-R with AndyF map etc etc etc gave me 305 bhp at Dastek (Dalgety Bay). I must admit that I was expecting around 330 and am wondering if the difference is down to the different rollers. Anybody had experience of both?
