A couple of months ago i got a set from CRN Products
Front Grooved disks and mintex pads delivered for £73
They can be contacted on 01246 559 933
For that price they are not mintex racing pads, but you can obviously pay extra and get them

Just received a set of front discs and pads for my car through a group buy on PH although i think it's open to everyone
£73 in total for a pair of front grooved discs and mintex pads MDB1416 m1230, although you can opt for different pads and style of discs
link is below

Thought it was quite a good deal, if anyone is needing to replace their discs
-
Thanks guys
There's a group buy for these disks on Pistonheads through the Jap car forum.
As i need new disks and pads i was fairly interested. Might give them a go!
Cheers

I'm booked in to Ian Grieve, £140 quid plus a 10% discount was mentioned which should bring it down further, so not too bad
It beats £170 quid and at least the FSSH continues
Thanks for your help

I used to get my car serviced over in Falkirk as i had a friend in the paint shop and got a discount.

Anybody fancy taking up motorpoints offer of 13.5k for a brand new WRX.
Sounds like a bargain!

Might have been me, was playing 5's at Broadwood.
Got an R plate Terzo, thats had the decals removed.
-
Hello there,
i've had my Terzo for just over 6 years. Its pretty much the exact same as most uk MY97 cars, so 2 be honest their pretty good. In the 6 years i've had my car i've only had to replace the clutch around 65k which cost £500 and shortly after that i had to get the synchro in 2nd rebuilt in the gear box along with the bearings replaced. This also came to around £500.
Apart from other general wear and tear items thats been it for 6 years worth of motoring, so can't be that bad!
Suppose it depend on how the car has been treated as they are getting on in age now
-
I'll second that Kev

I've ordered a MAF frm Glenburgie, £117,
a lot better than 280 plus VAT from Subaru.
Hopefully that does the Job
Cheers for all the advise!
-
Just got an E-mail back from Glenburgie, they want to know if it has three or five pins, that was easy ( 3 pins ), however they also want to know the colour of the sticker.
I've had a good look at the MAf and can't for the life of me find a sticker with any colour. Does anybody have an idea what it would be for an MY97.
Cheers by the way for the help so far.
-
Thanks for all the advise guys, i'll just try to shop about to get the MAf as cheap as possible and then fit it myself.
The car still runs at the moment ( maybe shouldn't have said that ), so no major rush
-
I've E-mailed Glenburgie Kev, i'll see what they say to it.
Is it fairly straight forward to fit the MAF?
-
Cheers Andy
-
Its an MY97, i have no idea if the MAFs from other model year imprezas would work
-
Cheers Kev, the woman just barley managed to keep a straight face when she told me the price.
-
Thanks for the reply, i stay in Glasgow
