Grumbler

hi i'm doing a project for uni on turbos so could someone please tell me how much power (roughly) it takes to run a turbo? thanks

could anyone please tell me where i could get a driveshaft. preferably second hand cause i dont want it to cost lots. any help appreciated cheers

tried loads of different things. even when i just turn it on and put it in reverse it grinds really badly. going back in tomorrow so was just wanting stuff to tell the garage. oh yeah and since it was in the garage the other day the grinding is a lot worse and its really really hard to get into first

can anyone please tell me if their gearboxes crunch when going into reverse. mine never used to till it got rebuilt and now it does. when i picked it up they said that all scoobys do this. is this true? any help appreciated cheers its also getting a lot worse now

i put it into second and it went crunch. i only then had 3rd gear (which was dfifficult to get into ). when i turned the engine off then on again, it gave me all the gears back and got stuck in reverse. eventually came out and just 2nd was making big noises. i take it that means its knackered? cheers for the info aswell people

i think that i have snapped my gearbox. can anyone please tell me where a good place for getting it repaired/ replaced and rough prices? any help will be appareciated cheers

i take it it was quite highly tuned?

i got a 13.7 @105.1. not bad for in the wet. i kept getting a bit of wheelspin at the starts which made me slower should be a bit quicker in the dry. i noticed my94 said a car had a scooby killer sticker on it. obviously a lot of sh*t cause i only got beat by one thing in 15 runs. it was a sierra cossie which has done it in 12.8 before but even still there was only about 1/2 a cars length between us on our 3 runs together. apparently i had about 3rd fastest by the time i left. blew away many cossie's and others. even beat a caterham which spun a lot but then came flying back at me at some speed. anyway pleased with the car and had a good day out. anyone else got figures from previous runs?
