    Car Could Be Going Soon ...

    Have been thinking about selling up for couple of weeks now, for a couple of reasons.

    I mentioned it to a friend and now her boyfriend wants to buy it.

    Had last night to sleep on it but think I need the whole weekend to sleep on it to be sure.

    Didn't think it would be so hard to part with :D

    Don't worry I will stay a member of SIDC till November at least to keep up with the gossip lol :P

    Returning To Scoobs

    Well after almost a year away i am now returning to scooby ownership. After a few hours of toyin at the showroom and having a WR1 and a hawkeye STI to choose from i am now the proud owner of a 56 plate Silver STI. Would just like to thank Craig at S&S for his help and perseverence with me on buying this. Will post up pics of it on sat when i pick it up.

    A 2.5L engine with lots of torque is going to take some getting used to after the CTR.

    It will of course be remaining standard!!!!!!

    Hmm, I had my first pull last Sunday night on dual carriageway between Busby and East Kilbride. Police sitting on other side of road from me (at car wash which was Phillipshill car centre once), drove to roundabout then came down other side and put on the blue light.

    Peter was driving, so he pulled into bus stop. They checked car, insurance, road tax and tyres etc.

    Peter knew we were getting pulled as soon as we saw them. I am sitting sayng "no way, why, no we are not".

    Anyway as Police woman walked away at road side she nearly knocked my mirror off. I was raging.

    Say no more :)

    30k Service - Need Advice

    Just phoned S&S and they quoted me £320 including vat minus my 10% discount comes to £288. So have booked the car in for next week, amazed at the difference - over £100. I have never been so pleased at the prospect of a 300 quid bill - LOL!

    Thanks for this info. I booked my car into S&S for 50k service last week and didn't even ask the price :(

    You get a discount when you book it online too.

    Getting done tommorrow. That's MOT, new brakes, renew insurance and service all in the one week :D

    Just as well I am finished my Christmas shopping.
