  1. Looks a good buy for the money...

Only thing i find strange is i am from Clydebank and there isn't many Scoobs about yet i don't recognise this one... that said it could be that he has just moved etc etc, not saying there is anything dodgy just worth asking the history....

  2. Absolute joke mate..... i had something slightly similar years ago, got hit off my scooter at a set of lights (i was stationary) and my bike was wrote off.

As i had no obvious injuries the police said they wouldn't attend, just get the guys details and go through insurance.. so i do as they say, turns out to be bull details and the police didn't even follow up trying to check the ownership of the car etc etc.. net result.. i got hee haw for my heap of a scooter that cost me £2.5k brand new 6 months before...

I'm absolutely not an "anti-police" person but there are things that really P me off!

Anyway, back on topic - Hope you get the bike sorted ASAP and your injuries heal up!

  3. Guys,

Seriously considering doing my direct access course... now, i would be hoping to do it in one intensive week, for this harleys (Springburn) charge £850, Ride-On (Glasgow South, bout 100yds from my house) charge £700..

Is Harley's really worth the extra £150... i've not heard much about ride-on but have a few mates who recommend Harleys...

    Any comments appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Chris

  4. Lovely car and cracking price! You could sell the exhaust, turbo's and Apexi PFC for not that far away from the £2k!

Take it you plan a single turbo conversion if your aiming for 400bhp?

RX7 FD is on the list of cars i will defo have at some point in my life!

  5. I've had 7 in 7 years of driving.....

    1 - (99T) Pug 106 quiksilver

    2 - (01/51) Astra SRi 1.8

    3 - (04/53) Mazda RX8 231ps

    4 - (01/51) Subaru Impreza WRX

5 - (02/02) Mondeo TDCi Ghia X (to save for house deposit!)

6 - (99 on an irish plate) Subaru Impreza STi5

7 - (95 on an irish plate) Toyota MR2 Turbo (weekend toy)

My daily driver is actually a Clio DCi... not much fun but ultra reliable and 55+mpg about town so can't complain

  6. Anyone know anywhere else selling them just now, hoping to try and get one today!

Think you may be struggling i'm afraid... i phoned round a load of places yest and visited a few and it wasn't happening.. luckily Peter (Fai_17) came to my rescue! Cheers again Peter!
