  1. Looks good - mine is a similiar size too ( & legal) I will have a snifter at Undergrounds site CGS
  2. I have been there before - take the hit, 3 points initially did NOT affect my premium. £60 is a night on the p1ss. You can forget about it within 24 hrs and get back to chilling like a villain. When you hit 6 points start challenging them. They caught you fair and square by the sounds of it so don't put yourself through the grief. 9 points will double your premium and 6 will add circa £150 - £200 CGS
  3. @ the weekend go along the South Deeside road and then out towards the back road to Portlethen. There is a nice straight with a wall alongside it. Slow down to a crawl and peg it with the windows down. I bet you keep the car after hearing that hell cat scream like a banshee ! Also - if you ever go away for a long period of time you can leave yer whip at my house CGS
  4. I know the very man Dougsy - I will pay him a visit at some point CGS
  5. Holy Moly Guv - at least yer alright ! CGS
  6. 3 pts and £60 from my experience CGS
  7. For info - mine were made up as 410 mm x 112mm I cracked my front plate last week working on the engine bay and needed a new one so though i would resurrect this thread I ended up using Fancyplates last time but they took ages to arrive ? Can anyone else advice of any other companies who do this ? CGS
  8. Dude, Do not sell unless it's affecting your health with worry. You will be gutted when you let her go. Is there nowhere else you could park or even leave it 5 minutes walk further away ? I hate to say it but I am sure that high spoilers induce rage in jealous plebs. Worst case chop your car in for a wagon ? More discrete ? CGS
  9. That would be clutdav [] - did it have PFF7 wheels ? CGS
  10. Do not underestimate the importance of sorting your brakes out if you are going for big power / faster b-road mobile. Short ot time but see some of my other threads as I am on a similiar mission CGS
  11. The upipes on classics and bugeyes are the same size. You can get a CEl fix if it doesn't have the boss So it should fit your car CGS
  12. No CEL's and I dont expect any tbh - the difference is night and day. Much more rapid spool up and far more punch. Pulls really srtong between 5k & 6k for some reason ?
  13. [H] I am not entirely convinced. However, I can confirm that it's just like decatting w.r.t increased flow. My car is going like a Meschermitt at the moment !
  14. Yeah and I'm the Swedish chef so watch out.[:|][] To be honest, I double posted by mistake as the other thread was about my boy and this one never showed a pic, so I changed it Hairy muff - I thought it was an attempt at an amusinf thread. Consider yersel' acquitted of the crime []
  15. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=8 [*-)]
  16. w.r.t " "remap is essential" they are talkinig non-sense. A remap is ideally preferred but not essential. Many bug & blob eye owners run full decats without remaps. On a classic Scoob I would be inclined to agree but not on a new age car. The ECU will learn the new system and adjust accordingly. You will get more gains with a remap in terms of performance but I disagree that it's essential ? Other peeps may disagree but the majority will agree IMHO Cheers CGS
  17. Be careful with the TSL pipes as some of their parts for the new age use classic sections. e.g TSL thundercat uses a classic centre section for MY02 > However, according to this you should be okay by the looks of it http://www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk/newsite/pr...8&detail=36 Cheers CGS
  18. your extra special request would benefit from stating which side your after [] and stating that it's WR Blue your ideally after...........
  19. I will never forget watching the Hibs fans singing "Flower of Scotland" at Ibrox and the Gers fans singing Rule Britannia back. Beggars belief really !
  20. They view it that you will take more care of the M3 and drive it more sensibly - people are less inclined to look after older cars
  21. This thread needs resurrecting - a pax run in the WUZ mobile at the weekend and then a sly run it his RA when i went to the cash machine revealed a true monster. No idea of the figures ( circa 400bhp ?) but the fact it weighs hee-haw means it completely goes like a rocket. 2nd and 3rd gear are mind boggling and with the DCCD set to the rear you have to be on your guard when that turbo comes on song ! So if you come across a blue RA in Abz( ohh er) then be afraid, very afraid ! CGS
  22. Welcome back to the Scooby fraternity brother ! Nice looking chariot [] Can we expect to see you and the wagon next Tuesday night @ the ABZ meet ? Rgds Cal
