Is that the place where you asked "who put all this on my plate."[] Went to the pub after where you never got drunk....[] Thats the place Bob. I quite liked it there...good food and plenty of it..... And where beachsleeper went down the up escalator![]
  11. Thanks for that info, i will add it to the info on www.southwestscoobies.org
  12. Jacqui, in what way are the other style sheets easier? you asked me before is their was a way to disable the water effect. this has been done in the Evolved style sheets, and most features have been disabled. on the evolved style sheets. they do not have any extra queries that the std style sheets dont have. with the exception of the style sheets that say No features. as every extra has been removed. I have been using the no features skin and have had no other problems
  13. quite agree neil but after last year are we allowed back!!!!?
  14. I found that its much simpilar to use the basic un evolved skin for the site and it is speedier then with the other skins. I have copied over the main meets etc onto this forum to keep everyone who is unable to get on the sws site informed on the meets etc that are coming up through this forum and you are able to come straight into this forum by doing www.southwestscoobies.com

  17. Ok i have started a new poll to try and get things narrowed down so we can get things booked as we are running out of time. Some people have expressed intrest in a posh do and some have said they would prefer to have a sunday mid day meet at a pub. There is no reason why we could not have both but we would need to have names and numbers rather quickly as well as deposits. Over the coming week i will be putting up some pubs and hotels and what they have to offer for a group booking for xmas periods. It would be helpful if you could tell me what you think of each place. Suggestions for other ideas are as follows:- Beachsleeper has suggested Mcdonalds! Scooby3717 has suggested Pizza Hut ScoobyDazza has suggested Sun Inn @ Swindon, Ed and i could pull some strings as its our local, we know a D.J, and might be able to set up some discounted rooms at holiday inn that is across the road! Scoobylove has suggested Ocean Pearl in Bath OPTION 1 - The Bear, Wellsway, Bath Starters:- mushroom dippers, prawn cocktail or soup of the day Main meal:- Traditional Roast turkey, Traditional Roast beef, Salmon with citrus sauce or blue cheese and walnut roast Desserts:- Double chocolate profiteroles, festive fruits and brandy snap or christmas pudding The best bit of this lovely pub is that the price is a bargain £20.00 for a 3 course meal for 2 people !! Not overly posh so all the family are able to come to the event with childrens christmas menu at £5.95 for a 3 course meal, deposits for each person are required on booking as well as choice of food. OPTION 2 - The Compass Inn, Tormartin, Nr Bath Awaiting menu and costs

  21. For the fourth year running, the ESC will be helping Scoobycity in supporting the BBC's Children In Need appeal, with their now-famous, and magazine featured Charity Convoy through Norwich City Centre. If you've never been on this before, you've missed out on one of the most satisfying, enjoyable and worthwhile events of the year.........where else would you get a convoy of dozens of Scoobs, creating havoc by taking over the city centre roads, making a complete spectacle of themselves, whilst raising money and doing it all with the support of the Norfolk Constabulary? Last year, we had about 50 cars, and raised several thousand pounds, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves into the bargain. Once again, this year we will have full support from the Norfolk Constabulary (with many thanks to Dirty Harry .44), with a Police liveried Scooby and Evo to lead the convoy, and to block off the junctions, roundabouts etc so we can enjoy uninterrupted progress through the city. We will again park up for a regroup/pose/picture opportunity in Gentlemans Walk, and get out and about with the collecting buckets to get even more money. Sponsor forms are available from the BBC Children In Need website , so you can go around your friends, family and co-workers to get them to donate to this most worthy of causes. Final details to be confirmed Please get your names down & put this in your diary now 1) S.P and edmondo
  22. 1) s.p/edmondo 2) glenn 3) Robocop ? 4) Nombo 5) Somerset scooby anyone else wish to join us?
  23. I thought better be put up just in case sws goes down again as derek has put it up on the main site Dear Members, I would like to apologise for all the down time we have been having of late, our webhosts have finally admited that most of our problems is down to load on the server. all though this is out of our controll, we know it is not acceptable, and are working to resolve the situation. I have already started looking at alternative hosting. I have also spoke with our current hosts and Have told them i expect to be transferred to a More reliable server Immediatly. weither or not this happens i do not know. if it does, then unfortunatly the site may go down during the transfer. Once again i apologise, but assure you we are doing everyting we can. Many thanks Derek Clarke
  24. Don't know if any of you would be intrested but we are having our monthly meet this sunday at the compass inn, tormartin, nr bath from 1 pm Anyone is welcome to join us at this lovely family friendly pub
