Its very good, obviously the sound is much better than the standard HU and as standard its got all that you want. The only downside is the less than spectacular user interface which looks a bit dull as you can't change the colours only the background wallpaper (you have a choice of three I think) and the IPOD connection is not the best as selecting individual songs is not easy. Other than that its very good, though one word of warning don't forget to earth or connect the Handbrake cable otherwise it won't show DVDs, otherwise like me you'll end up taking it out again to connect it[:@] Any chance you'll be going to one of our meets so i could have a look [Y]

To be honest i would not bother with the rear speakers but if you've got them already then from memory i think they will need adaptors Yes you will have to change the connector, i'd suggest you leave a few inches of wire on the connector just in case you want to change back at some time in the future I used double sided sticky tape for my tweeters and they seem to be fine Use the standard speaker wire as it will be a pain to change it (tried to but gave up) No extra waterproofing but i suggest you put some sound deadening (dynamat etc) around the speaker and directly behind it on the door skin Finally how do you find the DDX-6029 as i'm thinking of getting one soon
