used to own a scooby

was a DBM my99 uk turbo - had the prodrive performance pack put on it + scoobysport downpipe and back box.

then got the prodrive uprated disks and pads on it.

had the gold P1 wheels too.

had to sell it 3 years ago

never seen it since - had sold it to the garage in Perth.

was reg V757 ESX

wondering if its still alive and being enjoyed

his loss seems to have deeply affected alot of people.

i didnt know him, but I think i remember him and his P1 at kh when i had my scooby.

if he didnt have time to react, he knew nothing about it and so didnt suffer.

as kate mentioned in her post, he was doing what he loved to do.

hopefully these 2 things will help ease your pain.

It is the best stuff ive used and ive run out - not good when the nice salt is going down soon ;-)

i confirmed all mods on my old car with an insurance company at time of quote.

downpipe, wheels, ppp, quickshift, 6 cd changer, piaa lights - the whole lot.

was told no probs.

was 2nd day into the policy and got the details.

no mention of the mods.

so called them up during lunchtime.

"sorry sir, we cannot insure the modifications. we have to cancel the policy with immediate effect"

i was like - wtf!! im at work, i have my car, and now im not insured?

"yes sir, sorry sir. we will give u a full refund"

i tell ya - they ALL suck

got to the roundabout for the M9

we went towards edinburgh - u went round roundabout

gotts say - very smart car.

didnt look like a 'normal' P1 - were the wheels/brakes different, wasnt sure.

sounded ace!

good idead about the username

maybe use ScottishScoobies.com instead of .co.uk?

the chrome is a nice effect

personally, i prefer it without the dash infront of the username.

maybe align the username with the middle of the saltire?

good starting point

i like the idea of just the url.

Scottish in the Saltire's blue colour

Scoobies in the SIDC colour

the SIDC font used for the ScottishScoobies

and another simple font, in a smaller type size, for

would look ace.
