  1. Seeing as the weather was actually quite nice tonight I decided to sting the plans and work a wee bit on the car, this included removing all the rust and paint from the battery clamp and preparing it for a fresh paint (my car didn't come with one so bought one second hand), fitting new bulbs in sidelights and headlights, trying to resolve the finger sized gap in the passenger side bumper, removing the fog lights and fitting the new covers. It doesn't seem to much but with no experience on working Subaru's what so ever it was good fun and quite interesting!! The front bumper support has completely rusted through so another part needing replaced and wait till you see the corrosion on the fog lights!! There has been some interesting wiring done on the passenger side headlight which was fun :smiley-violent003::Scottish-flag:

  2. I am exactly the same, was suppsedly going to keep it standard and just clean it but then I joined this forum, thats all out the window, braided hoses, new dump valve thats not a piece of noisy pish, rear bumper support, if only i hadnt looked, and i cant stop buying cleaning gear. I went in to book the car about fitting new bumper support bar the had verbal diaorreaha on other items i wanted done! Bye bye pay :)

  3. Turn around of events :) The item was damaged in transit and the supplier was brilliant to deal with. He has offered to replace the bar or if I can get the bar straightened out and therefore use it he will refund me 50%. The guy was honest and eay to deal with so will be getting the blow torch out and seeing if I can work some magic :) anyone know how to bend bars? :P

  4. Got up nice and early this morning before I was busy thiis afternoon to clean the car.

Started off well, car shampoo'd, steam cleaned windows and alloys then onto the colour restorer. When buffering it off to get it clean and shiny it started to piss down and for a final kick to the nuts was when my rear bumper support arrived during the rain. It was bent and twisted on the right side, this is some day :tumbleweed: think ill be going a wee drive to let steam off!!!
