About RosieFreak

  1. Cheers guys, I have ordered the Bilt Hamber medium and soft pack of ebay. Looking forward to seeing the effect.
  2. I am free tonight and was going to go through to Hamilton tonight anyway if that would be okay? Just sent you a text, so its up to you mate, what ever is easiest for you.
  3. Having never used clay bars on the car before I am looking to give it a go. What are people favourite clay? What bar would you recommend?
  4. Thats fantastic mate, what would be the best day/time for me to pick it up? Cheers
  5. Thats brilliant Johnny, much appreciated. Just let me know and ill make the drive. Seems the weather has turned for a bit, hope it brightens up!!
  6. That was brilliant to look through, some car you have there. Well done man.
  7. Thats would be amazing, i dont mind cleaning it and painting it up. How much you wanting? Cheers
  8. I never knew that about the lights, bit of a gutter. But they are not in very good way at all. I dont think I would be able to fix them up :/
  9. Seeing as the weather was actually quite nice tonight I decided to sting the plans and work a wee bit on the car, this included removing all the rust and paint from the battery clamp and preparing it for a fresh paint (my car didn't come with one so bought one second hand), fitting new bulbs in sidelights and headlights, trying to resolve the finger sized gap in the passenger side bumper, removing the fog lights and fitting the new covers. It doesn't seem to much but with no experience on working Subaru's what so ever it was good fun and quite interesting!! The front bumper support has completely rusted through so another part needing replaced and wait till you see the corrosion on the fog lights!! There has been some interesting wiring done on the passenger side headlight which was fun Essential music on Yeah my finger went right through!! Very dirty headlight! Getting to grips with the bumper Salt loves fog lights! Wee bit to much fun in the snow Temporary solution!! New covers and bulbs fitted, just need to get them painted now Have to say it was interesting and good fun getting my hands dirty in the car, cant wait for it to be dry again, prob wont be for another few weeks
  10. Yeah thats what I am hoping, I have the waxoyl and kurust ready to go, just need the weather to improve to help along with it. The weather wouldnt make its mind up today in EK on and off!! Where abouts in town do you stay?
  11. Could you let me know how you get on with repairing yours? I think I will have to get it cut and wielded to be honest, i know its dear but aint looking to get rid of the car.
  12. This is rust needing repaired.
  13. Hey guys, Can any of you recommend a garage for removal of rust and resprays? In the Glasgow area. Cheers
  14. I am exactly the same, was suppsedly going to keep it standard and just clean it but then I joined this forum, thats all out the window, braided hoses, new dump valve thats not a piece of noisy pish, rear bumper support, if only i hadnt looked, and i cant stop buying cleaning gear. I went in to book the car about fitting new bumper support bar the had verbal diaorreaha on other items i wanted done! Bye bye pay
  15. Hey Guys, Just had a look through he newbies tips pages. Great banter. I now want to go a drive though, so think from EK to Fife will suffice to pick up a rear bumper support.
