  1. I became a paid member because Keith michaels was the only one that would insure me for the first year with a subaru.

As for all the nonsense on other forums/clubs. Why bother all press is good press and free. What one club has another doesn't and vice versa.

If you what a good club with reasonable benefits that you will get with this club then £20 ain't much. How many £20 notes did you have to hand over for your remap and parts plus labour for some of us.

  2. I've always had the same opinion on this area.

When the first focus st's came out I always said to people why buy an st170 just buy a 2.0l and spend the extra cash making it better than one.

Also one of ye reasons why I probly won't buy an STI.

Ok some cars like wr1 p1 and the new hatch cosworths if you keep them good likes a collectors car. I see why but I would prefer a car I don't care if it has a bit of wear and tear because I drive it.

  3. Don't know why but Mercs n bmw's just don't interest me at all. Scooby, evo or a nice audi RS.

Got to remember the money we save on not buying a overpriced bank managers office we get to spend on our so called "Chav wagons"

£10k spent on a £2k classic still seams a lot more fun than £50k on one motor that needs a scooby to pull it out of the snow

  4. Lets just say chitty chitty was a fictional vehicle, oh exactly argument invalid.

Lets also say that I do have the least powerful scooby on the forum and most likely the youngest member to own a scooby and still turn up to 90% of all meets even of it does mean I have to scrape past the next few weeks on £10 of fuel.

So yeah being a full paid member for only a couple of weeks and can still manage to show up for Falkirk wheel and the AGM.

Once again your opinions are invalid.

  5. Aye the tunnel run was ... Erm interesting haha.

Fantastic run dry weather and good drivers ( apart from the vxr ) surprise surprise he was behind me thinking he was all that. When I have a ****ed clutch and the slowest scooby that night.

Another round of applause for the ****s in the fagwagon

  6. Fantastic pics Gordon and Chris turned out better than I thought because of the weather.

Will say sorry for me and the other half for leaving early but was a tad cold and wet with the wrong clothing. Ensued up being a tad grumpy haha

Hopefully next track day I might be on track or pax ride.

  7. So after a few weeks of waiting for the new backbox I finally got it ( thanks scoobywho ). Hks box with 3inch pipe work sounds lovely.

So after calling cnc in hillington and being spoke to with utterly no respect by some arrogant ****er, I decided to source expertise from else where. Once again thanks to the forum I found meerkat exhausts in kilbirnie.

A bit of a crap drive down because of the weather but got there easy to find. Good helpful guys. Had the exhaust on in half an hour. Simple 3" to 2.5" sleeve and it was on. Not to bad for £50 and the worlds best driving soundtrack.

Will get a wee clip and pics up soon as I wash the blob

  8. His bathroom is ****ed. Guy came to lift the tiles and burst the pipe for the toilet and he has to pay his insurance to get new plywood or something like.

Now because he used his savings to pay off the rest of my insurance he is skint. So I need to pay him back.

  9. So since all the talk these days is about the dwindling numbers of members and the lack of cars at the meets. I am currently signing up to other forums such as clan Japan.

Now this isnt to steal members and create drama or rivalries. Really the plan is to try and get more cars at meets. Which In turn could help out with responsibilities at meets and other activities.

If anyone has any issues with my idea please just comment. I won't take any offence.
