My wee sister has just phoned me absolutely gutted. She had parked her new (to her) Audi A3 in a shopping carpark and some auld idiot ran his trolley into the rear bumper. It's not cracked but scratched. I've not seen it myself but it sounds not too bad. What i'm looking for is ideas on how to repair it. Painting the whole bumper or i've heard about detailers who can cover up scratches but i don't know much about it. The car is metallic black. What's your thoughts?? Johnny.

Could be a number of things, plugs, maf on the way out, lambda going. I take it this is gentle acceleration as it's not a good idea to be using boost when it's cold. Johnny.

Can you see where the leak is? It's pretty common for older sumps to get pourus. My old v2 had this prob. Johnny

Cheer guys, no it can be a v5/6 or P1. i mentioned P1 as i've had probs with eaglesham using import details in the past. johnny.

Went to order a new maf today and eaglesham want a chassis number or registration (couldn't find my reg). Anyone got a reg or chassis number from a P1 they would be happy for me to use? Cheers, Johnny.

Got the cel on and i figured it was the maf as the car hasn't been right recently. Anyway the cel check showed the maf so i checked it out. Don't think this helped any.... A lot of black soot in the induction hose to clean out aswell. Johnny

Certainly give playsatan's a run for it's money in the noise stakes (if you can remember how loud his was). I don't think it would pass the new noise regs at knockhill (if they are policing them) but i've got another system i can use anyway. Johnny
