  1. It will be a good day im sure. If you know any other scooby drivers local to you then drag them along too. Lets make the first one of the year a real good one.

I have tried but there are not that many scoobys around here lol but im goin to try and get to most of the events i can do.

  2. Hi buddy

We are planning on meeting at 10am at the IKEA carpark

Would it be an idea for people to PM me with their mobile numbers so we can communicate in case we can't find each other?

Ayup mate sent you my number and 10AM is fine im sure we will find each other in the carpark seen we will all be scooby's lmao see you sunday..

  3. Here's a Royal Navy one for then...................

When I was younger I was loan drafted to the Royal Yacht where one of my primary roles was Cerimonial Umberlla Party (no joke!!) which involved me waiting at the end of the gangway in full No 1 uniform in the pissing rain (sometimes for up to a hour) with a closed umberella just so I could open it when VIP arrived by car to board the ship.

Add that to polishing brass in the rain, sweeping puddles in the rain and sweeping the jetty clear of dust and sand IN BAHRAIN - happy days!

lmao thats the best one so far haha you defo got :hump: with that job

  4. well, that was a warm response from all my fellow-minded scooby owners. THANKS :icon_salut::thumbup:

Will put piccies on, when I have worked out how to!!

    :D:D

:icon_salut: Go on to edit profile, and then on the left click change photo and then you can upload some from there!!!

  5. Another Army one for you, was given 3 plastic stacker boxes full of mixed up nails and screws and told to sort out into alike trays, needless to say half of them found their way into the bin outside.

    Living the dream!!!!

:iagree: living the dream :icon_salut: think i would of done the same!!!

  6. Great stuff! Look forward to meeting you! Which route would you take to get there? :icon_salut:

Yes same here mate it will the first time i done out like this..

And i think ill get on the A500 at crewe and scoot acroos the A50 to the M1 at j24a and then up to j26.

    Where you coming from?

  7. Yup, if there is a way to waste your time, then the armed forces are the answer, ive done the whole paint the grass thing, sweeping puddles whilst its pissin down, but the best one was having to paint our block and buff the floors so they were like glass at RAF Catterick the week before we handed it to the army, who bulldozed it when they moved in.

Lmfao typical army that "hurry up and wait" is another good one lol :brickwall:

  8. Seeing as the forum is quiet , thought I would start this. At work what has been the most pointless, time wasting , money wasting task you have been told to do.

Mine was when I first joined the army , we had hrh Phil the Greek coming to open our new barracks at tidworth , my job was to paint the mud hill green at the front barrier so it looked like grass and not mud , took me about 3 days , fekin pointless.

    Kenny

yes i used to be in the Royal Artillery and we had a royal visit once and had to also paint the grass around the parade square.. The best bit they never even went near the grass,

And the other thing would be having to put shoe polish all over an orange and then buff it till u could see your face in it total waste of time hahaha

  9. Hi guys,

Thanx she is a beautiful looking car thats what attracted to me to her but if you look closely i have caught the front splitter on a curb the other week GUTTED.. So now gotta go and buy another one.

And the bonnet was done before i got the car but as far i can tell it a standard bonnet and front vent is currently cosmetic with a black plastic plate under the mesh..

But it looks like there was a section cut to for the wrc vent but it ended up bein done like that but it still looks good but it will be change in the future i think.
