Am I likely to run into any problems then? Don't like the sound of angle grinder lol.

I've found a good deal on a set of Kyb ultra sr Shocks And Eibach pro springs. But they are off a bug wrx.

Will these fit my blob wrx? Or are they different?

Nice, they would save me a paint job.

Any idea where I could get these from? The link is American so can't get them delivered and the only place I can find is ebay but they don't do white either.

I've seen a lot of nice scoobys with the 'hella' horns showing through the grill.

I've had a look for some white ones but it looks like I'm going to have to paint them myself as they don't seem to do white.

I've found some at £25 - £30 all the way to £150

Anyone know if the cheap ones are fakes?

Also if anyone on here has them, are they easy to wire up? I'm useless with electrics.

There is a red classic sti parked up the road from me in Kettering, near the train station.

Got a wave from a blue blob sti going past the hospital in Kettering, and seen a blob parked up in desborough and a wr1 in Rothwell.

See a black classic drive past the train station in Kettering most days.

Didn't realise just how long it takes to sand down one wheel! Think this will carry on till next weekend too!

I took my wheels off yesterday, going to get the tyres off in a few mins then get the wheels preped for a DIY refurb and paint.

Never done this before so should be fun to see how they turn out!

0-60 for me, although I am driving to Germany next month so might see what she can do on the autobahn!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if there is a difference between 04 and 05?

I'm looking to get some Eibach Pro-Kit springs but I have an blob eye 05 wrx. All the springs I've found for a new age end at 04.

Is the 05 a different set up?

And will the 04 springs fit?

I'm thinking of changing my suspension from standard to kyb ultra sr shocks and eibach springs as they have the 'knock'

But I'm driving over to Germany in a few months and will have four people in the car plus luggage in the boot.

Will the fact it's been lowered slightly plus the extra weight mean I will be scraping the arches? Or speed bumps?

I bought the 5 speed pink box with lightweight fly wheel from Aztec.

I had a bit of trouble pulling away at first, not sure if it was judder or just dodgy clutch control haha. But it was quite bad for the first hundred miles, but got a lot better.

Hardly does it any more, unless I go on quite a long journey and get stuck in a traffic jam, then it makes me look like I can't pull away smooth.

I'm no expert on clutches either so bearings may be an issue with yours, but the garage I got mine fitted at was Scooby world and they took it out to test it was all ok.

The only thing I get with mine all the time is a rattling sound when I'm just rolling in gear with no pedals depressed. Scooby world said it can happen with a lightweight flywheel.
