  1. Due to my driving style I have gone with their recommended K Sport ones. If I do not get on with them then I will go for the Yellow stuff. I do not drive on tracks and I think that the 8 pots do not really need really high performance track pads for these roads, What I do need is good cold performance. I questioned him at some length and decided that their own pads will be good enough for me for normal use, if I decide to track it then maybe upgraded pads will be fitted
  2. I was with Southern. I do hope they stop me.
  3. Yeah I have been, but last I heard they were cutting back due to the recession. Worth somone asking though.
  4. Ace!! Just ordered a KSport 8 pot 330mm front brake upgrade kit. Arm and a leg and the shirt off my back, better hope no classics follow me lol. Chris those 4 pots are defo up for sale once my new ones have arrived. Just got my refund from the gas and electrickery companies - £500 - so that helps pay for the brakes. 2 clutches, a brake upgrade and my car tax due all in 6 weeks, bah.
  5. No probs mate, they are not SIDC but are a good bunch. Does not start till APril though. We have a drive out on 25th at 11.30 from Gallows Gate Paignton.

  12. Thinking about it, Sundays would be better anyway, we can make a day of it somewhere. I would like it to be accessible to families too so not always long drives, but def with something for kids, big and small, to do. Beach, bbq, etc etc. I have chatted with J WRX Tonkins who is the RO. He needs some help and I reckon we can do that by turning up and making this area active again. Personally I would like to attend the occasional meet up country somewhere too. Swindon area is quite active so if they can arrange their meet on a sunday too maybe we could meet somewhere nice like Bourton on the Water. A trip to Haynes Motor Museum is also on the cards. Let us start planning guys. Terry
  13. keeping fingers crossed for you
  14. Anyone fancy doing a regular meet in the area, say 3rd Friday of the month at say Exeter Services at around 7pm ish? Just thinking about it, could make life more interesting with a drive out on a sunday once a month too. We could move the meet around the area so everyone gets a localish chnace during the year, like Plymouth Barnstaple Torbay Okehampton etc etc. There are other local clubs doing ok with regular meets, my local does weekly from beginning of April. Your replies and ideas will be much appreciated:)
