  2. too much time on his hands id say lol, best bit about that was the video at the end with those roads which id luv to have a go on , thats like these folk who have put a 200mph+ hyabusa engine in a smart car should see it when it races a ferrari and leaves it standing !!!!!!!! would rather have that
  3. yeah you bbq lot are a pain in the a*** making my day that much harder, having to make 2000+ burger roles
  4. do you mean not to hold it at 100mph after getting the mods or , holding it at 100mph as standard, because i do like the bypass all the way down to eyemouth and the old hyundia coupe handle a constant 110mph all the way down numerous times
  5. its a wrx sti type uk 2003 model , blob eye i think you call it
  6. well its a wrx sti type uk i have, and im just looking to make it a little quicker, but not so much that it drinks the fuel more than it already does lol as its standard the now , but just to up the top speed a little and give it more accelaration of the line, and so it picks up speed alot quicker
  7. dont wana seem like im hijacking again , but just found couple pics a few of you may like

  13. cool grant , like i said it was a different subaru i was intrested in and emailed them about and they jus got back to me the other day about ti , and your talking like a month or so ago i emailed them and thats them just geting back to me now, but i found my first scooby on evans halshaw site,
  14. dont mean to hijack this thread and hope itt doesnt seem like i am or that im trying to , but while on the subject of tyres, may i ask what and if anyone has any opinion on nitrogen filled tyres instead of normal air filled, i have a cosco membership card and was at the cosco up at next to ikea in edinburgh ,loanhead area, and in their tyre section they were advertisng filling your tyres with nitrogen instead of air, saying they last longer etc etc , but didnt see a price and never heard of anyone having their tyres filled with it before, so as i said dont mean to hijack but anyoen had any experience with filling your tyres with the stuff?
  15. yeah i saw that was happening , but im sure ive saw somewhere else that theres another event on somewhere else or am i just imagining things ....
  16. used to be on borrowed time but havent sped since getting my subaru , but its been in the workshop for a month nearly now, and cant exactly speed in a 1.0 micra

  18. yeah a know pathhead , few of the lads stay up there and so does my two older sisters, my brother in law runs the fottball team up at path head - terry welsh ..know him? midnight
  19. i saw that one too as i stay just at the new house up from the junction where the round about that heads up to towards fordil, but i was in the missus micra , seem to be seeing lots of subarus in dalkieth at the minute wagons, classics and newage ,blobs, bugs and hawk eyes aswel, there a maroon /faded red classic just up from sams bar and restraunt or down fi coach and horses depending which way your coming , never seen the owner
  20. cldnt tell you what the mileage is grant , they only got back to me with etails about a different scooby that i was looking at about a month ago just before i got my wrx sti you cld always email them to ask.
  21. YEAH ID BE UP FOR IT , my car should and better be back from getting fixed by then lol and as ive missed out on the event up at knockhill last weekend and cant make the event this weekend as the motors still in the garage getting fixed , so would defo be up for going to this . still looking to ge my first event under my belt
  22. cheers hightower , well so far they say their handing it up to nobles to get all the parts ordered and diagnosed, havent driven down to the dealership to see if its still sitting out the back , or if its already been taken up to nobles, dont think i wana go look, but they have a week to get it sorted and back to me, but means im missing my first meet with all you site members up at knockhill, on the 22nd, as its too late to putmy name down and i dunno if il have the car back by then , so gues im waiting until the next edinburgh meet or maybe the scottish modified at highland centre, if they dont have the car back to me this time next week , they will have had the car for a month to do an electric front window switch and diagnose the engine management light , which they said is going up to nobles subaru in penicuik asap. for them to do everything, but liek i said if its not back, then il be wanting the area managers number of evans halshaw for edinburgh ,and think trading standards will be a must aswel, seeing how i was sold the car stating there was nothing wrong with it other than stone chips that were also supposedly to be sorted by their guys in rotheram where the car was purchased and delivered up to edinburgh , but think i will go to ultimate shine that i saw on here work looked very good see if i can get some prices and let him work his magic . sucks going from a 2litre wrx sti type uk, to a 54plate nissan micra, only good thing is a tank of petrol is lasting about two weeks as apposed to about 6days not doing my street cred any good though , being 6ft 5 , and driving a micra, that has nice pink fluffy bits in it and a blue dolphin hanging from the rear veiw mirror
  23. are you sure its on here http://www.acklamcarcentre.co.uk/subaru/im...o-awd-3907.html
  24. just browsing and saw a few pics of a blue classsic with the lisence plate S888 OBY im sure ive saw a pic of it on here and have been trawling the threads but cant find it again , either that or a car with the similar liscence plate maybe? http://www.acklamcarcentre.co.uk/subaru/im...o-awd-3907.html ohh while im here does anyone know a member on here called andy grant? a pal of mine joohn malone told me he owned a scooby and was a member on this site , and i used to work in the same place as him quite a few years ago though doubt hel remember me though
