hi seevers , the part you are talking about is called the check strap , try spraying it with wd40 or put some grease on it if that doesn't help it will need replaced if the door is closing properly and hasn't dropped your hinge pins should be ok hope this helps mate

hi all , is it a common fault to have crap brakes (hard pedal , grinding noise) first thing in morning ? i nearly ran into another car yesterday as my car wouldn't stop the dealer says it's because of the hard compound that the pads are made of , they suggested fitting a softer compound pad. have any of you guys/galls had any probs ?

the mesh grilles really finish the front end off , where did you get them ? is there still plenty of clearence with a front splitter on standard suspension ?

has anybody fitted the scott lowe mesh grilles to their car ? if so do you have any pics and do you think it was good quality/value for money?

my car wanders quite a bit on on rough roads , is this normal ?. would getting the steering set to prodrive settings help ?. cheers
