If it is overboosting you should get a code 45 on the ECU fault code check (see the 'how to thread in the tech section), this could be a result of the solenoid duty being altered via your 'chip' to allow for higher than std boost, I could advise you on how to reduce your peak boost but without a boost gauge and knowing what BAR/psi your map is set for it would be a blind adjustment.

Thought I'd chime in with your air/fuel ratio -- have you checked it? The engine could be running lean and detonating or running rich and feeling a bit sluggish, as a cause for the off feeling. On the other hand, if your engine IS over boosting, you could end up with serious engine problems due to running lean!

Hi, could this be down to the fuel i am using because of the V-power not been available?? it has only happened twice and i have not adjusted or messed about with anything, thanks Karl (sorry abaout the caps lock.)

Hmm chips, does it still have the std TD04 turbo?

Do you have a boost gauge?

You could look for any split pipes between the turbo, the wasetgate actuator and the solenoid on the drivers side wing.

Until I know what turbo you have I cant advise any further.

ONLY HAD THE CAR FOR 3 WEEKS, AS FAR AS I KNOW IT IS THE STANDARD TURBO AND NO IT HASNT GOT A BOOST GAUGE FITTED.

THERE ARE NO SPLITS ANYWHERE AND APRART FROM DOING THE SAME THING TWICE SHE RUNS SPOT ON, JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE IT CAN BE SORTED OUT.

HI MATE, SHE IS A 2000UK MODEL, CURRENTLEY RUNNING AT 308 BHP THERE IS NO BOOST GAUGE, ITS BEEN CHIPPED BY WELL LANE TURBO, IVE CALLED THEM AND THEY DONT WANT TO KNOW, BOOKING HER IN WITH SCOOBY CLINIC FOR THE WEEKEND THIS HAS ONLY HAPPENED TWICE, WHEN BOOTING HER IT WAS JUST LIKE A STARVATION OF FUEL FOR A SPLIT SECOND!!!! HOPE SHE IS OK???
