Im sure Ive read somewhere that if you have insurance but your MOT has run out, your still covered on a third party basis only. No use to you if you have a smash, but should hopefully take some pain out of what could potentially be a massive bill. last time I looked, the new style MOT certificates come with the sticker as well, down in the bottom right corner. But hae to agree, a reminder would be useful.
