you want to run the 24mm rear bar as it gives you the ability to later fit the 22mm front
if you want to benifit from the fitting of whiteline parts this 24mm rear 22mm front is best
also use alloy drop links to compliment the bars

Who said he doesn't know about exhausts?
I posted that info for the benefit of the O.P. – info that I gleaned from a custom exhaust maker of several years. I got exactly the same message from a Subaru ECU mapper too.
OK – tell us which ones you mean, so we can avoid them.
no i will leave it to you ,,,,you look as if you are well clued up on all subaru parts ,exhausts , mapping , etc . whats your background , you in the motortrade , or do you relay info from other people or read books or are you hands on so to speak , the reason i am asking is that you never know peoples background on here . just curious

True of course that 3" gives better gas flow, but the chat seems to be that 2.5" is good for about 350-400bhp... certainly the chap at Stainless Creations didn't foresee an issue with 2.5" for the kind of figures I'm after (about 340bhp max).
Depends on your plans for the car I guess, but maybe worth mentioning that the 2.5" is supposed to be quieter inside the car... that may or may not be desirable, but I'm going for the quieter option
i think the guy knows about exhausts that offered the haward and scott system as its my auld man cusco kid ,and suspension systems also
i would have h and scott before any other fly by night systems

I'm not going to get into semantics but I think it's clear enough to see what you were implying and as I've said, let's just try and keep things on-topic.
ok boss if it will calm you doon.

Not so much your comments Grant as like you say, it's in reference to the OP but comments such as Skidmark's pay no reference to the OP.
Weren't the cars taken from Keith Price in Wales though?
i only asked if he was proud.

One of our Subaru Dealers has had 2 cars stolen at 5am this morning from a secure compound a wrxs chassis no JF1GHEKD38G008815 engine no 28132. The second was a 22B chassis no GC8-067441 engine no GC8E20P.Both vehicles were blue. If you come across either of these it will be a miracle but who knows!

why are people worried about neds and google maps.
when any of you get a new car you take pictures of it in your drive and post it up on here.

hi m8 if you are not going to do any other mods other than a rear bar ,the 22mm rear is fine
if you then decide to go further then the 22 bar can have its restrictions.
ie when you fit alk , coil overs etc
the best i have found on many occasions are 24 mm rear alloy c links
diff control bushes (poly pineapples) 22 mm front ,std ball d/links or alloy d/links . that makes a good fast road set up fo not big bucks ,before fitting things such as coil overs ,roll centre adjust kit
where do you call a halt
