  4. Mornin'. Where's the SIDC stand tomorrow? I'm on the CVR4 stand Area CC according to the gate pass.
  5. Mornin'. Got the car back in one piece after the boy had it yesterday. His only comments were. Quite quick isn't it. and the seats are too grippy. All accompanied by a big smile.
  6. Not sensible he's 24 and mad as hatter However, he's just passed his Advanced Motorist's Test and he's one of the few drivers I don't mind being a passenger with. I use almost everyday in preference to the Company car (Seat Leon FR)
  7. Not at the moment but that might change. My younger son is using the Scoob tomorrow as his Seat is in the garage having some work done
  8. The Scoob was the only car that could get out when the snow was here . So I was playing taxi service most of the time.
  9. Live out in the sticks. Small-holding with Barn. The more space you've got the more cr@p you keep
  10. and there's more....................... one ancient Mk2 Golf GTi (wifes runabout), bit of a "shed" but roadworthy and another Mk2 Golf awaiting 1.8T transplant. Oh and my daughters Pug 106.Way to many cars but can't bring ourselves to sell any of them.
  11. Nah! Not really a petrolhead. She drives it. I clean it and look after it. My 2 sons are into the car club thing but they are more VAG orientated. One's got a Leon Cupra and the other a Golf R32. We've also got a classic Cooper S for sunny days.
  12. She'll be Ok with it. She drives a Mitsi 3000GT
  13. Yes indeedeee. Couldn't play too much on the way back but looking forward to the drive home through the lanes
  14. Drive it Nothing else planned at the moment.
  15. It's OK for now. Torque was between 250 and 260 ft/lb from 3500 til' 5000 rpm
  16. I'm here Just got back to work after my trip to Plymouth Now got 260.3 BHP instead of 215 or whatever it was as standard. MAF needed replacing as it was running toooo lean.
  17. Yep! Can't wait . Had a chance to try the revised suspension early Sunday morning when there wasn't any traffic about. Very impressed. Much improved over standard.
  18. Right finished trawling various car forums, eBay etc. Back here now for round 2 . Shan't be on much tomorrow as I'm down with Alan Jeffreys.
  19. Mornin'. Back to work Not been near a PC all weekend
  20. Will try to get down to Ham Hill but she who must be obeyed is on about a holiday shortly but not sure when.
  21. Rear discs and pads and arrived today Mintex MDB1144 pads for the front should be here on Tuesday. "Super Blue" brake fluid to be ordered. Falken 912's should be OK for a couple of sessions.
  22. Cane it around the track at Japfest
  23. Decat (2nd only), Magnex Back box, "Green" Panel filter. All very basic really just need a bit more grunt as I've been used to V6 Twin Turbo powaaa from the Galant VR4.
  24. I'm having a ECUTEK remap which should take it up to about 250/260 bhp or there abouts which is plenty for now. Would like to see a bit more grunt below 3.5 K rpm. (Those Torque thingies I think they are called )
  25. Just booked car in with Alan Jeffreys for a remap next Wednesday
