  1. I always ignored autoecosse cos their cars were well pricey, so I thought any servicing etc would be the same. Are they good for picking up parts - any better than gettin off net say? I tend to get services done in Perth, now usually with RAmotorsport, a long trip from Aberdeen but I have a disabled mum in a home there. I've had services done at Clark Motorsport at Kintore and they seemed OK, nice bunch of guys and they do a discount for scottish scoobies and aberdeen scoobies, although they didn't change the clutch fluid or clean the air filter which was a bit shoddy. They did a good job of upgrading and changing my brakes - but I didn't think at the time to ask to see/keep my original discs. Why would you want a proper dealer to do a service unless you had full subaru history before? Lawrence of Kemnay, I wasn't too happy with, I had them look at a mondeo before, well I took it up waited half an hour for them to tell me they wouldn't touch it and to take it back to Arnold Clark - that despite booking with them (and telling them) it was for a second opinion. I looked at the new sti up there - to be fair the guy let me nosey at it, despite I was in my beat-up vectra at time, but guy wasn't happy I was critical of the car, comparing it to the hawkeye. Same crap amount of room inside as the hatch and the boot is restricted too. I did sell them my first standard hawkeye sti though and I got what I wanted, but they sold it for £3000 more (what I told the guy he'd get for it) within a week. I have heard other stories about L of K not beeing good too.
