For a few weeks now I have been getting a burnt oil smell from my 98 Impreza, I thought it was coming from the rocker breathers, but because of the weather (I've been using our landrover) I havent checked them out yet. However, yesterday I fired up the Impreza and after warming it up I took it for a short drive, the burnt oil smell was much worse and when I stopped I was getting smoke from under the bonnet. The smoke appears to be coming from the turbo, is this a symtom of impending turbo failure? G
