This is a project to restore the car back into a Road car, previous owners stripped the car of interior and have chucked a lot of it so need to get a complete Classic WRX interior (think I might have sourced one and I am off ot look at it this week!) But also they have ended up snapping 3 Studs from the Turbo to the Exhaust down pipe whilst trying to remove the Down pipe and repair the damage to that! So think it will be a full Stainless Exhaust system to get fitted for starters.
But my plan is to get the car back into a reasonable original Road going condition with a few minor changes a;though this winter the WRC livery may have to remain if it will damage the paint work trying to remove it! and that will then become part of phase 2 with a winter re-spray in 2010. I also require new Rims (Sticking with 17's) and I am looking at something like Rota Tarmac 2's in Gold as the livery for starters is in Gold on the car currently (in case it stays for the 2010 summer!)
I will be running a Photo Book album of the project as and when we finally get the keys to the car this week I can 1st of all get some images then wash the dust off to get some nice starting shots!
So thats the plan anyway Rich so any advice that can be handed this way is greatly received!
Johnny I tried Meercat and they would need the Car down to Ayrshire however have found someone closer to home he can provide a custom system for self fitting so may enquire more in to that option!
