  8. i might be going depending how busy i am and the weather...
  9. After working on a few cars recently i am now offering a detailing service for members on SIDC I will be available to detail up-to 4 cars each weekend, i have 2 cars booked with me this weekend, a wrx scooby wagon and a Merc so i will be able to start on the 11th for all members in the SE region. I will post pictures up on here of my work, but at the moment i only have a 5mp camera so please excuse the quality Detailing will consist of the following; Washed twice with the two bucket method - AG products and a wash mitt Hand dried with a soft cloth - Meguires soft drying towel This first step eliminates all dirt and grime off of the car, snow foam is commonly used within' this forum but two washes with Auto Glym shampoo works just aswell. Paintwork clayed using Meguires detailer lubracant and their clay bars, or Simonz clay. Second step picks up any lose dirt on the paintwork, brings the paint to a very smooth to touch finish. Plastic trims taped up to make sure no products go on there. AG SRP (super resin polish) applied to hand machine and the paintwork is polished in small stages (2900 rpm polishiong machine used) This step basicaly 'cleans' the paintwork and covers/fills in light swirl marks. Depending on the finish the polish leaves, a glaze can be added to effectivly dry the polish on the paintwork. Meguires microfibre cloth is the used to wipe off any excess polish The next step will be waxing the paintwork, a range of different products are available at present to choose from, Meguires, AG, and a spray on Nxt generation wax to finish it off. This provides a 'protection' to the paintwork and gives it a lovely gloss finish. Glass is also cleaned with a glass cleaner, and tyres are also sprayed with a tyre shine. Basic interior can be valeted for an extra cost, but will only be a basic hoover, and a gloss wipe on all plastic trims. Starting price will be £40 for exterior and will take roughly 4 hours. In which time i can either drop you upto Bluewater Shopping centre then pick you up or you can wait around and be bored lol Im located in Strood/Rochester, about a 15 minute drive from Bluewater please email at this address for more info, booking etc.... jay87gti@hotmail.com thanks for looking and hope to hear from you soon
