  1. Spotted chris in the White lightning this afternoon going up livi dual carriage way

Car looking and sounding good mate I was in the works van!!

See you Sunday bright and early

    Neil

Hi m8, was it you who was travelling back from knockhill to livi on sunday? I was in the Green Uk Turbo, we passed each other a couple of times on way back to livi.........

  2. I have a full 3" decat downpipe with Nur Spec R system and it's feckin loud in fact with the bung out i'd go as far as to say too feckin loud but it sounds absoloutely awsome not for the faint hearted lol, however I'm running it with the bung fitted at present to try and avoid unwanted attention lol but it's still pretty loud and certainly a lot louder than my H&S that i had previously although it was not decatted.

  3. Should be around 33psi front / 30psi rear for all sizes although for the twisties you can safely go upto 35psi front /32psi rear methinks... saying that, I've never had 35 profile tyres so they may be a different ball game all together. Doubt it though.

    Thanks

  4. About the wheels - I ought to say that, despite preferring the look of the silver 17s, I respect the fact that you're enjoying some of the on-the-road benefits of smaller rims. Bigger ain't always better, etc ;)

For similar reasons, I would no sooner swap my OEM 17s for larger alloys than I would exfoliate my scrotum with a rusty cheese grater.

    :D:D:P:D:P:hl::hl:

  5. Thanks for the positive comments guys, the pic is not the best but i will try to post some better pics later. I do agree the wheel colour goes well with the green. Always fancied a subaru and glad i have now got one! ;)

  6. Hi all

Thought since i have had it a few weeks now i'd better post a pic of the scoob. It's my first and its a MY98 UK Turbo. Pretty much standard apart from the wheels, green cotton filter, stainless exhaust from the cat back and bailey dump valve. loving it so far!

  7. my wrx is 17 this year and still feels good to drive etc it does need some cosmetic surgery soon and the odd bush nut bolt and washer changed but i love it ill post a wee pic of it. it certainly doesn't look 17

    neil

c'mon then where's the pics? :getmecoat:

  8. low life scum of the earth hopefully the fact that they have used probably one of the most distinctive puntos in the area as their getaway someone will sneak up behind them and kick their low life a***s for them! Makes my blood boil so it does! will keep an eye out for the car anyway case it heads over my way!

  9. New research by the Department for Transport has found that reducing the speed limit could save 200-250 lives a year and also reduce carbon emissions.

I had to stop myself ranting about this bit too but since you mentioned it ScoUK...

COULD save x amount of lives........load of pish.

and also reduce carbon emissions......what a bigger load of pish.

I'm all for making roads safer, but the way to do that is to improve our roads. More safety barriers, wider roads, sticky surfaces on corners, cut down trees at the side of the road etc etc etc. But this all costs money.

Reducing carbon emissions, FFS I've had enough of this. I wish Britain would wize up. We are a tiny tiny island and even if we cut our carbon emissions to zero, we still wouldnt have any effect on the world.

    ***rant over again***

Couldn't have put it any better m8! :)

  10. Welcome :) I myself just got my first scooby just over a week ago it's a green classic my98 turbo and i too am loving it  although i am trying to drive it semi "economically" lol just to find out what the mpg is like if i drive it like a granny but it is almost impossible to do this as the car just wants to fly :)

  11. thats a nice looking 90 :)

i take my car through (must look strange an impreza in a convoy of mad looking jeeps :P ) coming home i have to dodge stones and mud coming off the bottom of the jeeps

glad i was'nt behind anthing as dirty as yours :P

    steve

It's actually a 1957 tax exempt series 1 landrover! Well on paper anyway ;) it's a cut down range rover chassis on coil sprung suspension with 90 axles and diffs, 101 forward control bell housing on rangerover gear box and 3.5l v8 engine running twin su carbs with straight thru 3" exhaust with the 1957 series one body bolted on top, very solid motor. sold it about a year and a half ago for £3500. It was unstoppable off road! only 10 mpg though :boldblue: but i do miss it. Would love to see someone put a flat four in a landrover! B)

  12. Cool pics mate, does look like a lot of fun :boldblue:

yeah great fun, i used to do alot of offroading but kinda drifted away from it the last year or so. here was my v8 hybrid alas i no longer have it as i sold her due to not being used often enough. DSC00092.jpg
