I've got the anti lift kit, rear drop links and 24mm rear bar.
ALK requires geometry set up.
Best mod by far was rear anti roll bar. Makes turn in much better and car feels much more planted.
I have the same including full geo set up done by whiteline. Will be trying her out on Monday night.

Theres a track night being organised by Glenrothes motorsport club for Monday 4th May 6-8pm. They are well run (I think) and attract a good mix of cars. £65 for 2 hours open pit. You can book through the site at www.GMSC.co.uk hopefully there will be a few scoobies?? Open to members and non members.

My dads a 39 year vet on the rigs and my best mates works in the control room for shell, received a pretty somber message earlier. Sad day for all connected with the North Sea. I was recently at RGIT in Montrose where they were talking about the recent downed chopper, this situation sounds very different.

Just fitted brembos from a later sti to my 1995 classic. It has the "split spoke" 17" alloys from an 01/02impreza and they dont fit over the brakes!!
Am using the from my gt4 alloys with a 5mm spacer, they have an et of 45 iirc. - but only get 4 turns of the nut - so cant use.
what alloys would fit a classic with brembos? - am booked into knockhill on 28th so any help appreciated and if anyone has a set fro sale...
these are the 17" subaru alloys
cheers,
Nyle
The ones which look similiar to those but are slightly different fit over the brembos no problem. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Subaru-Impreza-STI-1...A2%7C240%3A1318

im looking to upgrade the breaks in a gb270 as the standard ones dont seem to be stopping the car that goog just looking for some advice and a rough idear of cost to upgrade cherrs guys Tam
good pads are the way top go unless you feel you need real stopping power! Get a set of ds2500 pads and see how you go.

Not sure how you prove it to be honest, as long as you turn up in something that is turned out well and isnt a heap you should get on track no bother. It does also keep the corsa/saxo boys away!
me and my brother inlaw do mainly hot marques and our two scoobies are barely worth 10k combined. They never check, infact there an old 924 that turns out. I have to be honest (and Im no corsa basher) those pics are the very reason I dont go to the sunday outings. Im down for around 6 track nights this year as well as the well manered saturday blasts. Much better.

Thats more like it price wise, the chap who paid around £500 must have been feeling flush or is there something special there?

Really depends on how well setup your car is, but realistically, I would certainly be thinking about it
your saying "you would be thinking about it"?? If thats the feeling I may just run my road tyres..
-
I have been told that if you run slicks you should also baffle the sump as the extra cornering force will cause the oil to surge to one side of the sump away from the pickup, leading to oil starvation is this true. We're talking about KH here also (not the ring..) anyone??
