  1. What turbo have you got on the car??? the boost pressure is pretty much limited to the turbo as that will be weaker than the turbo. If you are running std I wouldnt go much over 1.5bar but you will get nothing like 380bhp The standard 2.0 will drop boost at the top end as the car/turbo will not flow 1.6 all the way to the redline, i suspect if you had it mapped to 1.6 bar the mapper will bring the boost down to 1.3 at the top end
  2. LOL @ Ace, yeah it does look like he is on the Rob LOL Cheers Bockett & Rig-Pig You got a mail Kenny !!
  3. Cheers Kenny, hows life? .... Car is running amazing now after a fresh map and Stronger actuator, I have now maxed out my STI Pinks so need to buy bigger Injectors....... and then prolly a bigger turbo AGAIN it never stops hehehehe Hope you are well buddy Tony
  4. Cheers chaps got road sweep mud flaps and snow plough splitter..... But the drive is amazing, loving it... like an oversized go-kart Stretch isn't that bad but yeah, kerbs are now further up on the avoid list but I know the size of the car etc and the missus isn't driving it so I suspec tthey wil be just fine
  5. Had Phil from Arch Enemy out today to do my arches...... he really is good and can't be faulted in anyway.... very nice chap ! Finished, looks superb
  6. If you are not goign to silly power you can't go wrong with a newage STI intercooler (TMIC) these things are good for 400bhp and it will save you a s**** load of effort chopping bumpers etc Buy a Top mount, slightly bigger scoop (STI7) and an intake splitter.... job done!
  7. Hello Buddy... Thanks for the offer, Bert has alwso offered me a set and will be dropping them off so I am now sorted.... Thank you once again mate, appreciated Tony
  8. Hello chap Stud patern wise these should fit, have decided that I will just pop calipers off if I need to LOL What profile tyres are they mate as they might well do the job nicely
  9. Thank you mate but they are going to be too big I think as the circumference of your wheels + Tyres are the same as mine Hope the beast is going well
  10. Hello, Does anybody have any 15"/16" or a spare wheel or two I could borrow Tuesday next week please? the car won't be run on the spare wheels, I just need them to go on the car so I can get my Geometry done as my car is now too low to fit the checking kit with the 18" on as you can see (car has settled lower now than in the picture).... euuurrgghhh lives n learns ! Any help appreciated Cheers Tony
  11. Give A-Plan and Keith Micheals (sp?) a call, they will sort you out for sure!! If the Car is std then Direct line might be an option as well, wehen I was 20I bought my WRX Import and paid 1K insurance
  12. Noooooooo, I am yet to attend one of these meetings and am going to have to miss this one as well as my car isn't ready
  13. Nope the white one isn't made to look like a P1..... It IS a P1.... the First one in fact..... I think this white one even has the DCCD Gearbox in it still
  14. Yup you are wrong buddy!!!! The first couple of P1's "the Prototypes" were white mate, but all subsequent P1's were that "Natty" blue colour also known as Sonic blue LOL
  15. The VF34 spools around the same as the 18G and the 18G will give you more power, the VF34 really is no good for more than 340bhp, certainly if you have a habbit of blowing the tits out of turbos LOL
  16. LMFAO @ My car is Mocking me!!! It's all part of the cars character and charm
  17. LOL my Bug does exactly the same thing....... I'm yet to try and fix it as don't drive the car enough for it to wind me up but it is a bloody horrible sound!
  18. If you want 350bhp the VF35 is defo not the turbo for you mate, even if you do get it to run 350bhp it will not consistenly run this power and you are running the risk of blowing it to pieces as you will have to run about 1.6 bar to make 350bhp... TD05 18G andy F Tubo will see you right mate
  19. LMFAO!!! I wasn't being serious with my comment, I was only jesting..... Everyone is more than ntitled to their own opinion..... But even still : BUGEYE HATERS LMFAO!!!
  20. If you are going for uber power in a scoob then an STI after 2001 is the car to go for!! If you go big power on a classic you'll have to change the gearbox as well which is an Extra £2K + in your project that you could spend elsewhere But if that doesn't bother you it would have to be a V5/6 Type R or P1 My Bug STI which when purchased said I would never mod to the wife is now my project car LOL Just can't help myself and will be building a 2.1 Cosworth lump for it
  21. The VF35 is strong as feck but is only good for 340bhp...... what sort of power are you looking to pull??
  22. You bunch of bugeye hating blind people
  23. 1. Hawkeye 2. Bugeye (STI) 3. Classic Type R 4. Blob 5. Classic 6. Hatch
  24. 50K isn't early, most people have their cars serviced as per the time intervals as apose to mileage.... Mine was changed at 35K because the car simply isn't used but the time passed and the belt was due
