For me Grist's comment at the end of this video sums the man up A true legend, i can remember hearing the news on the radio driving back up from the boarders in the car. So much respect from every corner of the world for him, truely deserved too.

Talk talk tried to do this to me. They explained they would send me a final bill when i stoped my landline contract with them and that i could stop the direct debit, they never did. First thing i got was a letter stating i owed them £18 something, £5 something as my final bill and £13 because they couldnt get the money as i had cancelled my direct debit. I explained i wasnt paying them anything till i received my final bill, i would then give them the £5 something. This went on for months with them sending out letters left right and centre, but never a bill for £5 something even though they said they had, and i checked with my old address, they had not recieved anything. Got the letters from debt collectors saying they would take me to court. I personnely just ignored them and called talk talk each time, got to the stage where i told them i was going to seek legal advice on them harrassing me. Surprise surprise i got a phone call back from a customer service manager and in 2 days a bill for £5 what ever. If you are in the right dont let them have any more money than they are due, this sort of thing from company's winds me up, as you can probably tell!

Stolen from the east end. The most annoying thing is any other normal Monday and i would have been at work WITH the car. Took the day off as was down south and didnt get home till 2am so went and had lunch with my dad and a mate. Took my dads car instead of mine as i was pretty tired. I HATE THEIVING SCUM!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres not a chance ill get a good pay out from insurance company. I've only had it back a couple of weeks as well from having a couple of new panels and a re-spray!

Got back yesterday (23/03/09) at 6:30 pm to find the car gone. Flat had been brocken into and keys stolen along with the TV and Xbox. Obviously the main thing is the car. Stolen from the centre of Glasgow with a full tank of fuel. If anyone see's her please let myself and the police know. Reg: ST51 KWX

Are the radiators on classics different? As in the import wrx, uk turbo 2000 and uk sport. I thought they were all the same but mate tells me the pipes dont match up. Is he being stupid or am i missing something? Cheers Nick

Mate called me last night and said it wasnt going to fit. Apparently the pipes dont line up, im not fully convinced myself but he has it infront of him. Will go down this week and see whats wrong. The thinking then that it should be fine?

Anyone got a radiator for a sport with air con? Me being stupid i didnt think to check whether an import radiator would be the same...well it aint!

I dont mind them stopping anyone, its the way they then treat you when everything works out, as if id still done something wrong. Well i like the fact i seem to have annoyed them for not being over the limit and having no drugs in the car haha

It was a lwb van that stopped behind me as i said in my first post and there were at least 4 in that, plus 2 cars with 2 in each...so theres my 8-9. Its the way the junction works, your meant to go slightly further down the road and go around the round about i just did a u turn as it was quiet, so its fair enough i shouldnt have done it. But what annoyed me was their attitude towards me. The guy that took my details just stuck his hand in my pocket and fished my fone out, was like WTF! All he had to do was ask for it! Then when the other one asked if he could have the keys i said yes and put my hand in my pocket to pass him them and got keep your hands out! then asked for the keys again! I guess it was because it was late, i had on a beenie, did something i shouldnt have and admitted to have a pint. But i was pleasant to them, didnt have anything in the car i shouldnt and passed the breath test so the least they could be is pleasant back! Is it true its an on the spot £30 fine for pulling a U turn?

Well that was another thought, he just asked to take the keys and then went round the whole car without asking, didnt want to say anything as they would have probably just have made my life harder too, and the fact i was in the mondeo which im sure they could find 100 things to get me on i wasnt going to argue with them for the sake of him searching through some water bottles and a tool kit. [Joke] Luckily he didnt check in the spare tire well where i hide all the drugs and knives though [Joke]

I pulled over last night on great western road to go to the spar (bout midnight) and a police van pulled in behind me. Turns out they saw me doing a u turn and wanted to tell me off for it. So they did the usual asked where i had been, going if id had a drink. I had had a pint so said yes. While i was talking to one the other guy went through the car, ash tray, under seats, boot and i got searched as well. They had to get a breath test from another unit, 2 turned up!!!! So we now have a van and 2 squad cars, so about 8-9 coppers! Did the test and passed, wasnt worried as i had only had a shandy! He looked annoyed they hadnt found anything in the car and that i had passed the breath test. I know they have the right to stop me, but the reason they gave for stopping me was for doing a u turn, so they finished up with me, didnt give me anything at all just took my name. They left and guess what, did a u turn to go the other way! Do they really have nothing better to do, 2 squad cars for one breath test within minutes! And then proceed to do exactly what they stopped me for when leaving! And im not a police hater, i applied for them a couple of months ago before i got my engineering job. Maybe if they prosecuted their own for actually breaking the law (the guy speeding after an argument with his wife) they would'nt be so bored all the time Rant over!

Yeah was down at Scottish Subaru's on Saturday for a couple of bits and to have a look. Fair enough stevie didnt want to give me one as it would have left him a bonnet with only one washer jet! Think it may be a dealer job then

This is where im sure many people arnt covered. Many insurance policies need a valid MOT inplace, and some say road worthy vehicle, what classes a road worthy vehicle, is that not an MOT?????

Getting caught without displaying your tax disc is a £60 fine, thats it. You may drive to an pre booked MOT centre without tax, cant remember what the rules are if it fails, think it can then only go straight back home or to where its going to get the work done. Why they cant make the whole process a little easier and clearer is beyond me!
