Took me a while to spot the 'mod', but lol, absolute quality!

We deal with all turbo cars, petrol and diesel, and can offer you some advice, or take a look at it if needed. Depending on what exactly it is doing - smoking/no boost etc, we have seen Galaxy's/Sharan's (the same vehicle!), with silly things like split boost pipes, but without seeing it could be any number of things.

Depending on what's happened to yours, a repair of the damage might be more cost effective. Tbh, getting a cheap box is normally not the way to go with Impreza's.

I forgot about SVA and Rapid Chariots when we were talking earlier. Some of my customers have been to SVA with no problems, but i've no experience with Rapid Chariots. Guy at CPL is a very knowledgable, but he won't let you watch the rollers, and there is nothing else around his workshop to do.

Is your engine pretty much standard?, because if it is that would be complete overkill and unnecessary. Most external wastegates are only needed when you are talking about high gas flows and boost pressures, as the standard internal wastegates cannot cope. Also the cost of fitting it would be pretty big tbh, and outweigh the benefits.

Basically as I said. . With no code in there, it does not show either high or low boost, and none other the other symptoms, so was ruled out.

The coil pack is fine on it, but it has a definate misfire on idle when it goes down on one cylinder. Old fashioned mechanics tracked it back to the lead arcing out. The were no codes in the ECU, and a reset made no difference either. Once the leads are on that should be it. I would expect the boost soleniod to either throw up a code, or show overboost or low boost tbh.

For the mods, when yours is running right, then it's about spot on. Do some more, as we said, and it really will fly.

Get the pics up Pele, as I've never seen a disc not actually attached to the centre before! lol. It's no problem it took a little longer than expected, because there was no way we could let you drive away on brakes like that! All good fun though

We have had a bit of a reshuffle, and am sorry if you had any problems with us before.

His name has been in the mix for ages now. I don't think we will ever really know, because they will just deny it. I heard they used many different guys depending on who was availiable on the day of filming.

Depends whether yours has hydraulic lifters or solid lifters with shims. On your car I would imagine they are hydraulic, so they could be done in the car, but the solid ones, to do properly would be a complete pain in the car.

That sounds like a strange one with the grease, but as I said earlier, you are more than welcome to put it on our ramps to have a look.

The sport bottom end would not last 5 minutes, as Pele said, the higher compresion would be no good for running a turbo on it.
