  1. I am after some work done on my lorry, and around the workshop, and Pele told me of someone on here that does graphics, but I can't remember who she said! lol. Any help in the right direction will be grateful.
  2. Andy at BD is a good guy, and you won't have a problem. I would just pop down and see him, and getting the fuelling and boost checked and set should not trouble him too much!
  3. What are you like Matt!!! lol. I told you if you want me to check what ECU you have to make it easier I will Best thing to do, as I said before, is to check the ECU, then ideally get it on the rollers to see exactly what it's doing fuel/boost wise, then contact Simon (JGM) and get it mapped. You know it makes sense!
  4. It might look fine. but without getting it checked, I bet it's f**ked!
  5. Is the engine out again Matt?, as imo there is nothing they can check on the block in situ, it really does have to all come out again.
  6. You will find that the turbo timer will cause that problem with some alarms. The alarm is sensing that the ignition is still on, so not allowing you to arm it. It take it it arms ok once the timer has switched the ignition off?
  7. So am I! lol. I am talking years ago as well, but it's not really a scene I want to be associated with now.
  8. I hope it was just the modine giving you grief, but please get it checked out before you start giving it death!!!!
  9. I didn't word that well did I! Put it this way, If you car was on their stand there would not be much in the same league.
  10. Lee, Just go on their forum and I think all your questions will be answered Not generalising, but they tend to hang out on the Industrial estates, and have very 'chav' cars.
  11. Blimey, That's a bit drastic taking the engine out to do the clutch!
  12. They will fit, we had one recently where the only difference was the location for the coil packs. The Legacy has 2 bolt holes and the Impreza 1 iirc. If you use your Impreza rocker covers then you will be fine.
  13. Depends on where you are trying to clean, unless the engine is completely covered in grime, we would get at the area in question with brake and parts cleaner. It evaporates and really shifts oil and engine grime. There are not really any areas on an Impreza engine that you can't get to.
  14. I think the problem is that 'safe' and 'steam clean' doesn't really go together. I wouldn't really advise a steam clean unless they were really, really careful, as there's lot's to damage otherwise.
  15. Did you buy the loom adaptor as well? If you have the adaptor, then it's a case of taking the surrounds off the steering column, disconnecting the multi-plug on the back of the ignition barrell and connecting the adaptor. The only other wire you really need is the one to the handbrake switch. It will work without it, but it just cuts the ignition if the handbrake is released.
  16. That's not good news at all, if we can help you with anything let us know.
  17. Get that fuelling checked before you worry about the boost! As above, both the HKS and Apexi are good pieces of kit.
  18. That will be just fine for it, it does not require anything special at all. We had a new Mini in for a pas pump recently, and that used special fluid that was also used in a Bentley! Expensive as well.
  19. Bloody hell, give us a chance! I am sure either Matt or myself will post up pics.
  20. All done today , just Matt wasn't able to collect it, he'll be back on the road tomorrow. I've got the old mainshaft and 2nd and 3rd gear to show him. He's made a good job of them!!!!
  21. Sorry to pee on your bonfire, but i've seen that on other forums! Still funny though.
  22. Nearly there for Matt! We were just waiting for the box to be returned to us. There's a new clutch, refaced flywheel and spigot bearing all ready and waiting for the car.
  23. Might be worth getting a second opinion, especially as it's all happened since the clutch change. If not take it back, and make sure all the other bolts are tight, and that the gearbox has the right oil level, sounds silly, but you never know.
  24. I'll be up at this one, haven't been to Brands for a while plus Dean has promised me a passenger ride!
  25. How did you end up fitting them? Did you nut and bolt them, or thread the hub? They look good though, and I bet they do feel better too.
