hi does anyone know if a wrx gearbox has different ratios to a uk turbo gearbox

thanks for the warm welcome everybody its emotional haha, by the way my car will go into second gear if you ease it in gently and slow on clutch so that makes me think its more clutch than box like you all said.

well it needs to come apart wotever it is so i might just strip and see wot i can see going to b the best thing i reckon thanks people wasnt expecting such a quick response i will let ya know how it goes

haha i dont even read wot im typing i just type and if i make a word its a bonus, a few people have said cluth but it doesnt seem like a clutch fault i was wondeing if it might be the selector part of the box falling to bits or somthing

yeah thats wot it thought it might be just not sure cos it feels like its engaging but its not actually engaging i will ty the technical section thanks, oh and i might use this sight alot just had a look round it looks good and there seems to be alot of members, i just read my post back and it sound abit hardfaced sorry for that it wasnt meant to i failed english at school hahaha

hi im new to the site im currently a member of isn although i have to say the layout of this one is the same im to be honest i dont spend much time on forums cos i can neva think of anything to put, anyway the main reason fo this post is the other day was driving my 97 uk turbo and it suddenly wont go into second gear all the others are ok it occasionally jams in gear if i stop with it in gear or wont go into 1st if i dont get it in before i stop anybody got any ideas before i start buying stuff thank, mar c
