  1. Lood out for the free DVD in the Redline magazine; yours truly appeared again. They turned out on Thursday evening and did about 3 hours around the actual track, some awesome power and dedicated people; very proud of what they do.

  2. Ok you caught me, asked them to get there pom poms out, old joke but worth it.

I was stood behind them when they touched there toes, made an old man happy, wink wink.

My second year on the startline, pity about the general goss, people cannot afford it etc. Tickets were £18 adults and £9 for children, car parking was cheap too, on Thursday night I had the local drift club in for a slide round, 3 hours worth of fun and I was on the startline then.

I actually spent four and a half days having fun a few days of from my day job which is playing with cars.

Nice to hear from some people I know, the talk next year is China, maybe back at Wembley or the place in the desert, palm Island and QE2 berth, thanks for the posts guys (Stormy, DJ and Ben).

I made 6 seconds of live Sky coverage last year, this year I nearly made my 15 minutes of fame, in chunks, without the doshI feel 20 years younger after all my excitement, a youth injection, especially after watching Quo and Manfred Man live on the Saturday night.......

    Have a great Christmas.

  4. Sussed me, thought no one would notice, especially with the Michael Jackson gloves and tinted specs.

Yes my second year on the startline, been there for four and a half days, the Mitsy did a complete circuit on two wheels.

Might add that I worked so hard that after the heavy rain on SaturdayI went to the Quo gig supported by Manfred man, after a full blown sit down chinky meal. It had to be done, needed to dry out.

Once again i met some very great drivers and celebraties...........for those of you that do not know the roof does not close, it has a eyebrow system which does not prevent the rain coming in hence on the practise day we nearly ran out of cars.....lots of slipperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry action.

I did comute Wed, Thur and friday to Wembley in my mota then those of you that passed the Wembley travelodge may have seen it parked out the front, cheapo parking for £5.00 a day, just down the road from the Ace Cafe, ever thought of a meet there for a gut buster?

Thanks Ben for the link and DJ for pointing me out........I even appeared on Sky TV, there was some joke about wide angle lenses going around.

Even spoke to the girls in red about getting their Pom Poms out.........not impressed.

  5. same as me,

i'll carry some insulating tape with me to cross it out if i get any bother :rotfl:

As an MSA official the competition number has not only to be crossed through but totally obscured, lots of lines if that makes sense.

We brief that to competitors at the start of an event, particularly club sprints, were some owners drive the car to the event and home again.

I used my initials ijs which adds a touch of personal appearance, words used by someone else.
