  1. hi

i am sick of ebay bullies this is the third ive had last year , wanting money back or dont send back item etc

1- i sold a working maf to a girl and i think she is on these forums , she said she never recieved it even though i had proof of delivery and her car was up for sale the next day in a working order after the date of receiving , ebay refunded her money but six months later her account is no longer active on ebay

2- i sold a in dash dvd - cd - radio and the guy said he wanted the money back because the wires on his saab was different colours i asked for him to send it back , it arrived with the screen broken and a different serial number on it , again i could not prove the old number as i hadnt took picture of it , only written it down so i know i was being conned but as useual ebay refunded his money and i lost out

  2. Hi

just logged onto site after a little time away and read this post , i myself does not see what all the fuss is about , most off the sites i use have links to each others web sites and when the guys and girls go out at the weekend they help each other out at each others meetings , there is no bitching about my club is better than your club , so come on guys and girls you are supposed to be united by the love of subarus , deleting his post about ss.net was wrong in my eyes and the subaru world does not evolve around sidc , scottish scoobies is a good site and has alot of members so why dont you just get one stand at knockhill and have both banners up and make it a collective meet instead of competeing against each other

  3. story is ... said scooby driver was driving behind another car which was doing 25mph, decided to overtake it and slid on black ice. Driver is ok but pride is severely dented I think.

    Hi

if driver just slid on ice at 25 mph why was car totalled and the scoob and a big silver car up to their balls in the snow , it look to me that both cars had gone of road and where trapped in snow with scoob wrapped round lampost with damage alot more than 25mph would do to car , the scoob was wrapped round post so what caused the large dent in rear it certainly looked like big silver car size dent to me

    cheers

  4. don`t think the guy was hurt bad.

My dad just text me sayin its still there thats wierd like.

    Hi

passed this just after it happened , there was a large audi buried in the rear of it and they were all arguing , its a dude that is working at forth valley hospital for laing o rourke , i seen car in carpark every day until accident but have not managed to talk to the guy yet

    cheers Don

  5. Hi

after my escapades with the scoob and evo at sprinting and hilclimbing , i have just bought a formula 5 car

have a look at video so you get an idea how car goes , pity about the driver in video

    cheers Don

  6. It must depend on other factors. If you park on the street then you probably default to the highest premium for theft. If you park in a private car park then that would maybe give you a low premium for theft then the tracker would make that even lower. There are probably some postcodes that are expensive no matter what.

I was quoted a £50 reduction if i actuivated mine but that would cost me £120 to do for a year so it is not worth it. Crazy really.

trackers are pish , all you need to do is disconnect battery then tow car away then spend 30 mins finding tracker, rip it out then reconnect battery and enjoy your stolen car , insurance companys know its that easy so they dont offer a reduction anymore , with my tracker the ****s can never find you when you ask for a track or they have your tracker number against someone elses address , traffic master are shiiiiiiiittttt

  7. Hi

know wonder they went bust , i went in a while ago flashing 2k after a set of 18s for the evo the guy said he would order them and phone me up after a few days of no call i popped in again and approched sales person he said sorry as they cant get wheels and would i look at others, which i did i chose others and would have taken them away that day but he told me to come back on the saturday so he could try them on car, at £1800 the salesman should have jumped and got them fitted but the dick was more interested on talking on the phone , so i went and spent my money at skidz in falkirk

  8. :rotfl: Some cracking pics there Phil much better than Steven's point and shoot

What a weekend at Kames the weather was superb and the racing was exciting. Good to get back into it and good to see so many cars out especially in our class. Must say how well Don peddled the EVO round some cracking times there ;) Unfortunately Jac had some issues with the car which definately affected his times, hopefully these will be sorted before Doune. Hats of to Davie Coutts who came down south for the first time, Davie is a superb driver and put some cracking times in with his EVO having never driven kames before but made it look like he was a regular. Just a pity Jim Kelly couldnt make it in his EVO to keep us all on our toes.

    hi

it was a superb day, the sun was out and everyone set superb times great to see the a3 class was up in entrys but i still think alot of you guys should bite the bullit and start taking part

i cant make doune guys but i should be at ingliston on the 1st and 2nd of may

    good luck at doune guys

    cheers evil evo

  9. ave no idea why been told tesco increases to 99 using E85 and v power is an additive like octane booster.

the thinking being the ecu like the tesco better therefore can lean the mix off giving more miles to the gallon.

the st gets another 25-30 miles more out a tank using tesco 99 than on normal unleaded.

    hello there chappys

space man got my old classic of me which had a apexi in it and when watching knock on the hand controller we found that tesco 99 gave the lowest knock reading compared to all the other fuels

also all the evo guys use tesco 99 on track days and also at time attack and have had no melted piston problems

    cheers shocker

  10. Aah the old Tein routine, say no more :D

I'm on my second year with whiteline spec/developed coilovers and they are still @hit hot.

Can't wait till the new one's come out later in the year

i will second that , they are a very nice pair

and also that top class engine built by steve whitson

it has run perfect for a full season of racing

i recommended steve to a guy with a knackered spec d the other week and he has reported back saying his engine is rebuilt and running superb

    cheers Don

  11. Hi

you got to try the evo , you can always go back to a scoob , having had a few variants of scobs i now have two evos and straight out of the box the evo win hands down as a drivers car

scoob a great car from a to b and fun on track and your wife and kids can drive them with no problem , the evo takes a wee bit more consentration on road and i find my wife struggles with the way the power is delivered but the daughter loves the ayc and likes getting it sideways B) and on track its a superb beast , i get more smiles :P from the evo than i did the scoobs but give it a try and tell us what you think if you dont do it will always be in the back of your mind.

    cheers Don
