A remap is always a good idea if you modify a turbo charged car to make sure the fueling ect is spot on and to avoid any engine damage. As for your fuel cut question I dont really know. I've got a v3 sti with a sports cat and 3in system running a standard map and i dont have any problems, even though I am planning a remap Try contacting simon (JGM) and get his oppinion

Haywood and scott may make you something but they are stupidly exspensive. A good bet would be MIJ Exhausts, they custom make exhausts to what you want at quite reasonable prices. I have seen one on a scooby though, MIJ are very popular with the Ford & BWM fans. There web site is www.mijexhaust.com Hope this helps
