  1. My first car was a peugeot 105,

    Then I had a gold Rover 25,

I bought my first scooby when I was 19. Just a sport because of the insurance - can remember the insurance being £1250!! At the same time Gordon had his sport.

When I first bought it (on the left) Gordons is on the right:

After a few months I changed the graphics:

:We sold them both and bought our first WRX:

Then bought an R (which used to slide round roundabouts - was never right since I had it so got rid of it after 5 months):

Then we bought an RB5 which needed a bit too much work done to have any point in restoring it:

Then bought an Audi Q7 4.2 v8 petrol, which I've just sold after being in love with it for a year as the gearbox went :icon_hang: so got a wee C3 till March when the new RR Sports are available, decided to give one of them a go.

Just bought a GT-R Black Edition, which after owning for only a month has cemented itself into our lives, can't imagine ever selling it! :

Got no scoobs now, but I'm only 25, so plenty time! I'm after a white blob

  2. What was their excuse? Did you take the car on finance? You could always threaten them with letting the finance company know about the cars faults - which should have been inspected - also by agreement with the finance company.

God, what a nightmare for you. I really have my fingers crossed that they will sort all this out. Did they give you a warranty with the car?

  3. If the exhaust isn't fixed right then it might be the cause of the problems?

Did you hit a bump when it snapped or did it just go as you were going along?

I would've thought they would've noticed upon inspection before selling it that it was needing repaired.

I'm sure you'll get it sorted but it sounds like the noises you have could be a number of problems.

See what they get back to you with - get another opinion the same day if you're not convinced or happy with it. You've got the right for this.

Hope you get it sorted though, - I did smile when I read about your rear end squeek! I'd forgot that we had a bad squeek on speed bumps in our my03 wrx.

  4. I would be asking for my money back!

You've clearly been mis-sold a car, and if it's on a 59 plate, when it's registered in 2008 abroad then that's not right either!?

Your insurance won't have been valid the whole time you've been using it.

The fact that you don't have the full sevice history when you were told it had one and you were promised it?

Nah, here's the keys. Transfer the money back into my bank thanks!

Get yourself to a lawyer before you spend any money, time or effort on this car.

Yet another poor show from a dealership :smiley-violent003:

  5. Hi Guys,

We're hoping to be there for 1030 but it's all dependent on the time we pick it up from Ian Grieves.

Can you PM your number Kenny and I'll text you to let you know if we're going to make the departure time or not.

    :icon_salut:

Otherwise, we'll see you all at Perth.
