About BrightonMunich

  1. I use them and have had a fully forged build doen by them. Basically all good stuff. Many tuners with a good reputation ....but only a very few that really know it all inside out. Roger Clark Motorsport being another for example. PM me if you want more info
  2. I would be suprised if it didnt. Unfortunately I dont have my gearbox code info here. You might find it here http://spda-online.ca/modules/tinycontent/rewrite/tc_28. OPTION I - Get someone to fit it Email David at API I am sure he will give you the info on your the spec of your diff and a price to swap your old box for one that works http://www.apiengines.com/contact.php OPTION 2 - Fit it your self Call Grade A subaru - give them the exact model of your car UK 2001 bugeye and they will provide a box that will be compatible with your rear diff. I have had very good service off these guys recently...next day delivery. (If you are in kent - And want someone to fit it - I know a very good subaru/evo mechanic that does private work - PM me - or if you have the tools space yourself fair enough)
  3. Tent warming at this rate lol. Bttt Come on peeps 30 pounds the lot - cheap pads and disks ...even if you bin the rest
  4. OK with that code that makes sense. The TY754 box that you have is alot stronger than the eralier TY752 and can handle 350bhp... but you are begining to get towards the top end of what it will take probably(some boxes are just stronger than others). It is not Bhp but torque that destroys boxes. So if you are running under 350lbs torque you should be fine on that box - just find a replacement. To go for a 5 speed bullet proof box - you need to for a PPG box (wjicj you can get in Straight cut or Helical cut gears) This however will cost a few 1000. So it depends on your long term plans for the car....if you are going for big bhp and therefore big torque PPG is the only way. If you are keeping things the way they are - prob best to go for a TY754 VN replacement. Depends on what your current torque figure is???? (I am running 340lbs of torque through a TY754 - I can switch the map to push 400lbs through it....but have the feeling it might let go fairly quickly if I did this) (You would need a TY754 box anyway for the PPG conversion - of you go that route. As they use the casing and replace the gears inside) Any TY754 VN should fit your rear diff. TY754 VB are sti - some say they are touch stronger.....many think there really is nothing in it - plus it wont be compatible with the final drive or your current rear diff.
  5. No Al - a new one! Not doing the diveshop...but know them all very well still. So probably can get you some good impartial advice and a good price on a BCD and Reg. Just drop me a line when the time is right. See you at somepoint soonish
  6. As it is a TY754 VN code....I assume your car is MY99-00 UK classic????? Let me know what car it is. You need to confirm that it is running the origonal rear diff as well Three options API -only do rebuilds on an exchange basis Jap Performance - Tend to only have VBs for Stis about 550ish delivered Grade A Breakers - Tend to have VBs and VNs about 650ish delivered Grade A def your best bet. Give them the year of your car and the rear diff ratio http://www.gradea-subaru.co.uk/ Cheers BM
  7. To add these are front brakes and come from a MY98 UK car
  8. Hi thanks My girlfriend lives in Ingolstadt....she said she saw a classic the other day.....a rare rare sight in southern germany....was it you??? Yes the scoob will be coming Been working hard on her to get things ready. So will be spliting my time between Ingolstadt and Munich....with the odd trip back to Kent. If you hear a very loud flat four rumble it will be me
  9. Hi Just upgraded my brakes. So the origonal 2 pots came off. The discs and pads have alot of life left in them. Now i am moving to germany again in under two weeks so just want shot of them. the reason I have posted here is that i am in Herne Bay...and they are heavy buggers...so best a buyer collects or we meet up local. So I am after 30pounds for the whole lot. Will just give you the box with the whole set up calipers. disks, pads, bolts, hoses etc. If you are running say an early classic in Kent and want a good cheap backup set of discs and pads - could be good for you Cheers Steve 07715116199
