To be honest I didnt realise that the scoop was different until someone pointed it out yesterday [] I fear you maybe be right about the seal....but I guess I could make something up [] Maybe someone will oblige me with an under bonnet photo for a comparison.... On another note, where is the nearest rolling road? CPL in Sheerness is only 2WD....(but will be 4WD in about 4 weeks) I see you guys went to Power Engineering? Cheers Baz, This is the upper and lower....I think the upper is OK, I just need to see if the Impreza STI part is the same for the lower, and I will swap them out... Mark

I want to measure up a blob eye STI scoop both on top and below to see how/if it will mate up on my bonnet...[^o)] Cheers, Mark

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I checked out my grey puff, which was clean on idle and warm start, and the tuner said it was almost certainly unburnt fuel from being too rich on the cold start. He knew there was still a problem there as he couldnt lean out the map at that time (software problem).....does that sound tangable? Cheers, Mark
