I had my wheels done by Peter at P&J powder coatings, top job and excellent price

My GB270 made 345bhp/380lbft, decat, 1.35 bar, on vpower.
Nice figures you made on 97ron

For the use you have specified I would advise going for the prodrive springs, uprated rear ARB, alloy droplinks and ALK along with fast road geometery settings.
These changes made a big difference to the handling of my GB270(springs were fitted as standard).
The ride is pretty firm without being too harsh.

I went for the mintex 1144's good all round pad.
Found this link quite helpful for bedding in new pads

I've done similar power mods to John to the GB270 along with whiteline rear ARB, ALK and fast road geometry settings, the car is running 345bhp/380lb/ft and is superb to use as a daily driver and for fun, but if I was doing it all over again i would definatley go for a STI.
I'm now thinking of more power and trackdays, so brakes, gearbox and forged bottom end are coming into my thoughts
As a road car the WRX with the stage 2 mods is great to drive, but it depends what you want from your car, I made the decision to go for the WRX(GB270), but with hindsight I should have gone for the STI.

Think mine were that as well but i went for the same as you, cos tread looks diff, got them from kwik fit about a month ago. Although after i noticed marks on my wheels as well not sure if this was the guy that fitted the tyres fault tho. Cos it looked more like a bubble type chip that doesn't look like would have came from the machine. Going to see if they can get done under warrenty when i get my next service cos i don't think it's rite.
Tyres are holding up fine as well!!! done about 2000 miles on them.
Mine were also marked MO, had bother finding a supplier and when I did the price put me off, ended up going with the goodyear F1 asymetricals

I use Vpower as that was my car was mapped on, although Andyf said tesco99 would be ok to.

Hi I want to do an oil change on mine just to be on the safe side as it's looking not too clean!
What type of oil do you recommend?
And is anyone elses dip stick black? It's quite hard to see the oil level
My dipstick is clean and shiney, I use silkolene pro-s 5-40, changed every 5000miles, going to use the 10-50 next though.

I was at a rolling road day at Extreme last year. Nice guys that know their stuff but i think the rollers must have been out that day as alot of the guys were getting higher reading than before!
I was at a RR day last month at Dastek which was also a very good set up & the guys there were very helpful to!
Iain01 had his GB270 in at hypertech last month for some tuning & he said he couldnt fault Duncan!
Very happy with the service at Hypertech

Heriot Watt is only a few minutes walk away, parking there.

This sounds superb http://www.millteksport.com/media.file.cfm?fileid=533
but with your unfair treatment recently not sure you would want to go with it.

APlan were cheapest for me with mods, Keith Michaels came close but Greenlight were about £70 more.
Initial impressions with Aplan good, but can't say any more as its the first time I've used them.

Think Boyd could Make more of his career, his natural goal scoring ablilties are undoubted, don't know how hard he works in training, but in his free time he's not exactly the model pro , maybe thats why walter dosen't give him the starting place his ability deserves.

Not surprsied Chris Iwelumo missed an open net, he looked a bit over excited at his first cap!

Agree with that the WRX and STi scoops are the same size on a hawkeye, if your friend is fitting a STI intercooler they only need to change the undertray
