Fire up the car this morning noticed the engine reving lower than every other day. Sitting just above 1000rpm. Usually 1500rpm before the engine oil is warm up. I also noticed the Mulfunction Light is still on and the engine then hesitating and reving erracticly. I dont have access to code reader or dig machine and the Dealer is about 30mins away. I have disconnected the MAF sensor while the engine still running and the car seem to be reving and idling fine but as soon as I re-connect the MAF the engine would hesitating and cut out. Could this be that my MAF is knackered or could this be other things also? Any advise would be much appreciated.

my previous oil was Millers 10W-60 and noticed temp always sit between 95-100 degree. Since changed to Silkolene pro S 5W-40 2 weeks ago the temp drop to 85-90 degree.

Can someone please point me to the right direction please. Need uprated front droplinks for MY03 Sti either Whiteline or Perrin doesnt matter as long us they are for MY03 Sti model. If anyone can give me part number and the link to the website would be much appreciated. Cheers.

What are the syptoms of the drop link or ARB if they are in need of replacement? When I turn the wheel on full lock the front wheels feel like the wheel nuts is not fully tighened. Could this be the coilovers or something else? Any help would be much appreciated

If the top mounts is knackard would this mean that i will have to replace the coilovers?

Hi all, Im having loud knocking noise coming from all corners of my scooby but dont know for sure if this is cause by the coilovers or something else. I've own this car for 2 yrs now. The HKS coilovers was already fitted to the car since bought. I have done some research on few forums, some think this might be something to do with droplinks, some think its a warn ball joints. When i turn the wheel full lock It feels like the front wheels is coming loose like the wheel nuts is not properly fitted. Its hard to explain coming from someone that ont have much machanical background. Any help narrow the list down would be much appreciated before i go and buy myself a new suspension when Its not the cause of the problem. Cheers.

my 50k sevice is due soon im planning to take my sti to Japerformance located in Ellon Indst Est. Im not sure how much TC will cost for a cambelt and oil change.

Out of interest, the previous owner of my 03 STi had ECUTEK remaped done at WP. im thinking about changing exhaust in the near future and would like a another remap to work with new exhaust will i still be able to use the licence from the previous owner? or do i have to purchase a new licence?

Since replaced my front brake pads with ds2500 the front passenger side brake squealing badly. I can also hear gridding noise at low speed.Could this be a bad assembly by the garage? OR does this a sign of something else? Any help would be much appreciated.

Been reading re. clutch problems on here and mine is on its way out. Can anyone recommend good online shop to get new std/upgrade clutch, somewhere that can get me a good deal and not make a hole in my wallet, Also how much work involve in replacing them? Any help would be appreciated.

by tuned you mean re program to use on specific fuel grade only or remaped with different ecu? i have ecutek remaped and de-cat exhaust system but i didnt thrash it on the way back to aberdeen []. will top the tank up with v-power tomorrow.

Had to take my scooby out for a survey today as none of the company cars are available. The place i went today didnt have any V-power or Ultimate so i had to top up £10 with 95 RON to get back to aberdeen, i must have about 1/4 of a tank or less left + £10 standard 95RON, will this damage my engine? I look on the fuel cap that it say to fill up with 98 RON ONLY but i have no choice otherwise i wont reach aberdeen.
