got my insurance renewal through for march had to laugh was paying £290 a year my93 wrx import etc etc it jumps to £1048 ha ha ha so went online always found good deals through confused.com so ill give it a try same cover same compant its only £311 online unbeliveable eh so you can imagine ill be declining there kind postal offer and go online!! neil

Cheers guys I know how to modify the brackets etc had looked all that up before it's just that on mine the dv is after the intercooler and on the new one I'll have to fit the dump valve before it if that makes sense! I'll get pics tomorrow looks easy enough!! Neil

I've just received my newish intercooler today but I have a wee tech question! On my wrx with the squint small black TMIC I'm going to fit a version 3 or 4 sti ( I thinks it's this kind anyway!) so only car with the black plastic y pipe my dump valve is tee'd off here just before the turbo but on my new TMIC the dump valve has it's own connection on the IC This is where my tech knowledge is limited do I have a dump valve and do I need a BOV now? Help please I'll get pics if needed Neil

After owning my impreza for 4 1/2 years and the forester for 16 months my mrs came in from work tonight and announced she would love a white impreza so hopefully the forester might be up for sale and the hunt for a white one will be on!! she might even get to drive it! sometimes!! neil

Na Paul it's the later straight type sti one my wrx one is slanted There is a bit of chopping to do but should be easy enough just seem to remember someone else done and it was a good article done it!! Neil

I've got an up pipe to be fitted cause mines is burst is it easier to remove the headers then fit the up pipe then refit the headers? Looked at how to do just the pipe itself but it seems a bit of a mare!! Neil

just picked up an early sti intercooler and going to put it on my early wrx I know there was a guide on how to do this but can't find it help please? Neil

My impreza is a group 20 something I'm sure the uk turbo is a group 17 and I think the wrx was a jdm only model! Neil

I've got an early 93 wrx in standard trim bar wheels was going to update front end but I'm going to keep it standard as with spec wise not much of a clue really think the early sti's were about 276 bhp so think maybe 245ish I've always wondered myself! Neil

Snap off bolts mate you can get them from the dealer best to take them off with a bit of patience hammer and chisel! When you put the new ones on the heads of the bolt once tightened up snap off it's s security measure!! Neil
