  7. Cheers got a tyre sorted found an old one in shed it will do till it hopefully passes ! Sounds good I'll see the pics once you take would like a new set for mine and my ones could go on her forester!! Neil

  9. ive had the limiter on since i got it 4 1/2 years ago never really thought about getting taken off i would but i know ill get caught so it stays for now well untill i invest in a 20g then it might fall off!! neil
  10. ive seen a couple of agvs i like especially the rossi one with his face on it and the new barry sheene rep really cool and retro i like this one cause its matt rather than a high shine finish just a wee bit different!! going to order it in the morning me thinks then neil

Looking to buy myself a new helmet for the arrival of my new bike( when I find one I can afford! ) I'm using an old agv I've had for years it's great but too old so need a new one asap off looking at some today and I think I've set my mind on a new agv airtech rapid Just wondered what everybody else uses and and pointers what one to buy Pics if you've got them please I'll put up a pic of the one I like Neil

  15. And I've been relieved of £600 from my local garage for a clutch supplied and fitted to my mrs forester!!

My foresters clutch went last week looked around for a couple of garages to do the job so the local new one got a couple of good reports about them quick cheap etc etc put the car in on Tuesday night says it will take them an afternoon asks the guy if he knows it's a turbo he says oh is it not just a 2.0l? So problem starts there takes a day to get the proper clutch kit and another £100 so bill at this moment is £560 phoned him every day since it's now Friday phoned 3 times today it will eventual be ready at half 4 phoned again car ain't ready !! So what's the story he says had a nightmare getting the gearbox in and out!!! Nightmare? ef me mate three days to change a clutch that's just pish I got a mate to do my impreza( couldn't do the fizzie) and it took him 3 hours Sorry major rant over Neil
  18. Well sort of good news local garage 2 mins from the house doing it tomorrow for £451 all in fitting flywheel skimmed etcI think that's ok considering the best price I could get for the clutch kit alone was £147+ vat! Neil

  20. Well never made it to crail today what a nightmare woke up to my car dead battery gave up the ghost halfrauds £90 !!! But best of all the mrs car (forester) clutch has been slipping a bit but finally it too gave up the ghost on the west bound side of the m8 just outside Livingston last night luckily she's in the aa got the car home but it's goosed need to find a garage that will do it cheap enough but I'm guessing £500 ish and all just a few weeks before Xmas!!! Aaarrrggghhh!! Neil
