Andy here using Grant's log in, just seen and viewed this thread and it has boiled ma blood.
The white 2dr coupe that you are on about which has popped was only in AWD to rectifie another garages mistakes which consisted of head gaskets. We did fit defi gauges, samco hoses and a 20g turbo and was then mapped by Andy F. When the car left here we had nothing but appraise from the customer who was delighted with the performance and reliability. I do not know how you were sold the car or what sales pitch was said BUT WE DID NOT RE-BUILD THE ENGINE this was done 2 years ago at a garage in Dunblane.
If you want a copy of reciepts for proof of work done in AWD please just call. I also still keep in touch with the owner of the car prior to Gav if you wish to confirm what iam saying.
Do not want to fall out with anybody on here just want to set the record straight, not nice to get the blame for something which is out of our control.
