  1. Did it still have the rim inside or was it the remains of a blowout? The tyre repair boys don't pick them up and I doubt the driver of the lorry would go looking for it like a responsible driver should, or at least inform the old bill. Glad you and the car are safe though, lucky escape!
  2. Sean does have a point. By the time you find your car missing, report it and the Police maybe finding it's signal, it could already be in a container, which no one will find. Yes they do have there merits if the 'wood be' thief comes calling but a professional team wouldn't let it worry them. I've found that you need one installed just to satisfy the Theft cover of your insurance policy. So I'll keep mine up to date just incase it does go walk about and at least I'm covered! Check you insurance to see if they insist that you must have one installed and working. A Plan require a copy of the Tracker certificate.
  3. Wonders if this was the P1 I saw belting down Milbrook Hill last weekend!?!? and on the roundabout at Marston a couple of days ago??
  4. I've found that if you just rev the engine inbetween changing gear it makes the change a lot smoother and the cars nose doesn't want to bite the tarmac. Not saying this is the way to do it but it works for me.
  5. First Autopsy hasn't found what killed her...
  6. Morning Kip, morning all. Have a cracking weekend [Y]
  7. Go on then I'll be there, stick me name on da list guv [Y]
  8. Don't fold on the version8 but dunno if they added it to the new model.
  9. Hope theres not to much damage Kip and you're okay. I got stuck in Aylesbury! The hill going into Wing was not climbable for a couple of hours. People still driving way to fast!
  10. lol Iain... a sore shoulder coming up for you then. I know mine hurt like hell after my big clean last Saturday Enjoy!! hahaha
  11. After an accident I done some phoning around and I found out that the maximum size for the STi with the PPP fitted should be 225/40/R18. This is what both Subaru and Prodrive recommend so I'm taking there advice. Nowt wrong with the 19's in general but you get very little warning if they are going to let go. Also I'm having new coilovers fitted in March and don't want any issues with clearance in the arches [] Think I'll end up with the PFF7's even though I do like the Evo5 style. Cheers for your thoughts everyone [Y][Y]
  12. ooohh, should make it interesting for the morning. I've got to drive through the night to!
  13. argghhh!! now I am in a quandry lolol [*-)] Good point about the strength, you would think more spokes equals more rigidity??
  14. Same answer really, you'd better check with your insurer as policies vary. Hope it doesn't affect if for ya [Y]
  15. Hey ya, These are my current wheels. I need to change them because they are to big, 19's with 235/35 rubber. I actually like the style of the alloys so I'm wondering do I buy a set of PFF7's or do I get another set of these Evo 5's but in 18"??? What does everyone think? " align=left mce_src=""> Look forward to hearing ya thoughts []
  16. Morning all... s'posed to snow today aswell, so that should make it interesting out there. Drive safely []
  17. Cheers Alex, They are Dare motorsport Evo5's. I bought it with them on but am changing them to PFF7's shortly. I do like them but they are 19's and a little to big and to wide.
  18. lol... morning all, chilly start to the day, brrrrr.
  19. Followed all the link from the thread and none at the moment open up an acc, just the page for the wheel. There was a link from another thread to the scoobymania site, which did the same thing. It the thread entitled STI Keys in General Discussion. ---> http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/thread/891535.aspx
  20. I'd be wary of this... like LeeBo says, you can follow the link and it'll open up someone elses account on the site. Mr A Gibson, I'd log off that site if I were you.
  21. Good morning, hope you're all well and ready for the week ahead []
