  1. woohoo, remembered my login details...

Well I am over here doing my bit for Anglo/New Zealand relations. Things are going well. Mostly settled now, got the house, got a job, even got a cat!

If any of you are on Facebook then search for me, Paul Gardham.

Thanks for remembering me Ray. I was thinking about the group not so long back. Wondering if the club is still going strong, looks like it is. Miss the meets and you crazy bunch, notto mention those stunning motors. I dadre notown a Scooby here, they get nicked all the time here.

Tons of them on the roads though, mostly old wrecks but you see the odd nice one. Seen a few of the new shape also, and I have to say I don´t mind the shape when you see it in the flesh. Still a C4/Focus influence but it grows on ya.

I think Legacy´s are more popular here. B4´s all over the show.

Thanks Dave & Chrissy for keeping intouch and drawing me back in. Must admit that after I sold the Scoob I kinda drifted away, like ya inevitably do sometimes. Will try harder to stop by fromtime to time. NZ is a little slow when it comes to technology, so I don´t get online anywhere near as much as I used to.

Best wishes to you all and safe driving. Someone do a good flameout for me ;)

    Laters all.

    Paul

    StealthScooby.

  2. A HUGE thanks to all of ya and for those kind words Ray.

It has come out of blue but we are both so looking forward to it now, especially the quarter to 7 flight in the morning...NOT [:)]  I still got your number Ray so when we get back to the UK I'll give ya a call.

Fed up with with scoob right now, what a parting gift it has given me!!! 2 flats, same wheel, in 5 days. Goes to take the wheel off this morning and the locking nut key breaks!!! now I can't get the fooking wheel off [:@]

Looks like it's staying parked up till Dad can get it repaired.  What a right royal pain in you know where!

Oh well, sunnier climes await so I don't really give a beep hee hee

Fair well all and the very best to each and every one of ya. [Y]

    Paul.

  3. Hey one and all...

Just to say farewell to all that know me.  Not been in the club that long but a lot has happened in the last couple of months and it has led up to me going off travelling. I'll be selling my Scooby this weekend.

Thanks to Iain for being a great RO, only sorry I couldn't make it to more events. Best of luck to Ray and Anna, it was good to meet you both.  All the best to Kip and to all those I've met on the meets, it's been a pleasure.  Sunnier climes await....Spain, Portugal, Italy to name a few [:)]

Have a great season one and all !!

    Paul

  4. Thanks guys! I hope so to as it sounds pretty sick when the light comes on.  I think the spacing of the sensors is what is wrong as sharp jolts and when you give it some round corners seem to set it off.  Bloody cars!! nothing but hassle and money.

  5. How unhappy am I!!!

I can't go to Fastshow my car is playing up. Had it lowered a fortnight ago and it's now got a problem with the ABS light coming on, which then causes this horrid grinding/rubbing noise.  It's booked in to be seen on Monday but obviously they won't touch any upgraded parts, so it's more for diagnosis than anything else.

Sorry to let you down at such short notice Iain but I don't wanna risk breking something, it's my only means of transport.

grrrrr not very happy, but you all have a great day and I look forward to seeing the pictures.

    Paul.

  6. Very funny and the last one thill the summer! Must have just filled the remaining slots since Hamster recovered, still one more special to go and it'll soon be summer anyway.

That great escape trolley in the Panda was genius, and when JC came scooting down on it when they braked was so funny. HAHA

  7. TomTom 910 is a great peice of kit. You can get speed camera alerts (updatable from your pc), road traffic info and it has a hard drive so you can load it up with loads of junk like music if so wish.  TomTom has always been the market leader with everyone else competing for the top spot and you oly have look in peoples cars as they go by on the motorway to see which brand is most popular.

I think it was Fifth Gear on tv that compared the leading models for speed of finding satelites, acuracy and ease of use and the 910 came out on top. TomTom's aren't cheap by any means although prices are falling as they are getting so popular so a good look online should help ya out.

Good luck with the move [Y]

  8. Nice one Ian... the atmos is just awsome up there. Been in the Kop a couple of times and there is nothing like a rendition of 'you'll never walk alone' to make you deaf, lol, but full of pride. Amazing!

Hope the new stadium lives up to the bastion that is Anfield.
