About Yojimbo

  1. Hello All, Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to use these guys? What are they like? Good or bad stories welcome. [8-|] They seem to prefer the Nissan 300, but of course we know better and shouldn't rule them out just for this... [] Cheers!
  2. Haha! Not sure I can find the car I was looking again - there are loads of cars in there! [] Do most people take their cars to Subaru garages or do some of the basic maintenance themselves? Are there any workshop manuals around? What trustworthy garages are there in the area?
  3. Thanks for the links and the pictures! There are some tidy alloys out there! [] Nice spiders! Are they easy to clean? This is great, everyone so keen to show off their motors. Have you all stuck with the standard brake calipers and the standard pads? Bob, checking out some of your pictures (hope you don't mind), that is a flashy motor, what is it, where has it come from and what has been done to it?
  4. Do you have a picture or your gun-metal alloys? Perhaps my real reason for that colour is that they will look cleaner for longer... [] You are right, Somerset isn't really too bad - the countryside is great and country roads fun - the only traffic jams we tend to get are the odd tractor and cows in the road. I'll watch out for those muck spreaders, I obviously have been fortunate so far. [] And your accent, well it doesn't come through in your emails.
  5. Thanks for the welcome guys. [] I'm from Somerset, though not born and bred, and without the accent and love of cider (though it isn't bad). [] I guess the alloys are okay being as they come as standard, but certainly a good area to customise. I think that a nice set of gun-metal would do nicely - what size alloy is it possible to go up to? Is there any particular brands favoured?
  6. Hello all, especially those in the Southwest, Had an email exchange with the guys in SIDC membership while trying to find out a bit more about the maintenance side of keeping a Scooby and they suggested I get logged on here. I am now the proud owner of 9 year old imported WRX. [] Silver and pretty much standard, except for the exhaust (which is huge!), it is so much fun. [H] With 250 bhp, I'm not too worried about any modifications...well for the moment anyway. Not a huge fan of the gold alloys though, but I'm sure at some stage I could fill the wheel arches with a little more. Let me know who else is out there. [au] See ya.
