Hi leds, I'm new on the SIDC forum...
Since I didn't find a 'who is who' section on this forum, I'll introduce myself here. I am a Belgian guy of 26 yo, I arrived in Oxford Saturday evening and I will stay here for three weeks until the 23rd. I work in Antwerp for an American multinational and live 20 minutes away from my office, in a small city called Sint-Niklaas. I drive a green Subaru Impreza saloon with a WRC front bumper.
On Monday, someone has put an invitation card on my windscreen. That was very nice, especially if you know that my car was parked in a hidden street. I'm quite sure which car owner searched for my car in the area, put he didn't put his name on it.
It's a pity that I didn't knew about the Silverstone event last Sunday...
Let me know in case you are interested in seeing me on the 17th. I don't know if you guys appreciate a tourist to come to the Oxon Scooby Crew meeting but I'd like to know ASAP in order to plan that weekend...
My English is very good, so I won't be having any problem to conversate, but still I study at the Oxford House College to get to know the more difficult vocabulary as well. For 'car language' I know most of the part names as I don't miss any show from Top Gear or the Fift Gear, and I've read already much English car reviews on the internet.
Please tell me also if I can bring some students from my school as well. Some people might be interested in joining me, and I already know one boy from Korea who is a automotive mechanical engineer. There are a lot of Japanese people at my school as well.
Would you leds like to see pics of my car? I can put them online, no problem...
