ive got the same problem, mines been doing it for awhile and it will only get worse over time, my box started of doing it only between 1st and 2nd it now does it between 2nd and 3rd aswell will wait for it to go bang then decide what i want to do. Now when i had my clutch done last year the bloke who done it informed that you can either get the synchro's replaced of just replace the gearbox, both will roughly cost the same to do mainly due to the labour costs of stripping and assembling the gears, if yours was a decent recon box it wouldnt be crunching, i would take the box back and try and get a refund, and no amount of synthetic oil will stop it crunching. You should name and shame....

right have narrowed it down to two back boxes,, either the tsl ti-phoon or the afterburner vortex, what are yr opinions of these boxes?

had some work done by slowboy racing,,, clutch, cambelt etc,,,, what a cracking company would recomend them to anyone,

i know u cant go to loud,,,,, but what is the differance between the spec r and spec s on the blitz??? that cobra looks good,, whats it like???

Im thinking of getting a new back box , im looking at either a tsl firestorm or afterburner vortex, what are your opinions of these?? i know the nur spec is highly recomended but i think this could be to loud for me.....

yep was well worth it,, even the grazed knuckles,, not to sure about washing it though pmsl
